Bed came and was delivered by XPD, i was a little nervous as this company has bad reviews but the driver was incredible and even offered to take away the cardboard for me! Putting together the bed was a breeze, paper instructions came but there was also a link to a youtube video which was so easy to follow along with, i had the bed built within an hour with some help on parts hard to do. The storage under the bed is just amazing, if you elect to put the feet on, you gain alot of height room too which is perfect for storing boxes in. One word of advice, the beds bottom is a velcro piece of fabric, but if you drill the feet into the bed through the velcro, it will not come apart when using heavy stuff for storage. The hydrolic system to lift the bed is decent, it is abit wobbly but nothing to be too concerned about, it works brilliantly and is not too heavy to lift. My only real downside about this bed was the slats. Once fully built a few of them did break due to a manufacturing issue, however, Aspire Beds were fantastic and offered to refund me the difference on a set of IKEA slats which i could get on the same day as contacting them due to their warehouses being shut due to bad weather. They issued the refund almost instantly once showing them the price. I cannot reccomend this company enough, this level of customer service is just brilliant and the overall experience with dealing with Aspire Beds has been pleasurable. Fantastic bed, Fantastic price, Fantastic company.

Bed arrived in good time but without instructions. After a couple of messages, I finally received the correct instructions (side lift) and the bed has been built without much issue although, as others have suggested, I would recommend searching for the Aspire Beds YouTube channel and watch the "how to build" video as the instructions are very basic and pretty rubbish to be honest, so the video instruction does help. Even when listed on Amazon, buying online from a company you have never heard of is always a risk, especially as all you have to go off is a photo and a few mixed reviews and so many people have complained on Amazon about lower priced Ottoman beds having poor, low quality parts. However, the materials delivered appeared to be of good quality and fitted together OK (thanks to the help of the video) plus the hydraulics worked first time, which was a big relief. My only gripe would be that the frame does have some sharp edges and did catch / mark the headboard when raising / lowering it before I worked out how to adjust it. I suppose my last point would be that Aspire Beds promote "Quality UK made Beds, Headboards & Mattresses" but the 3 boxes that were delivered stated "made in China" but I suppose a low cost supply chain is a necessity to keep prices low. As a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" my expectations were not too high and so this is definitely one gamble that appears to have paid off as for the price paid, the quality is absolutely fine when compared to the Ottomans viewed in various bed shops (at much higher prices), so fingers crossed there are no issues going forward.

I was a bit afraid of purchasing a bed on the internet, but I am very happy with my decision. The bed is steady, there is a lot of storage and it’s also nice to look at. It is a bit of hard work to build, but that’s only due to the fact that it’s a big piece of furniture and not a “toy bed”. I had a browse around (internet and shops) and I can confirm that a bed with storage is much more expensive that this. It was also delivered way before the estimated date. I’m very happy, thank you!

Not difficult to assemble, good value for money, and gives me loads of storage underneath. The quality seems good and the nuetrality of the grey colour should work well in any bedroom colour scheme.

We bought this as a replacement after having to send our teenage son’s bed back to Next as it fell apart so we were understandably dubious about this one as it was so cheap. But, we read the reviews and decided to take a chance. The bed arrived in 3 heavy boxes and had foot prints all over them. Thankfully the parts were not damaged and I’m inclined to think they were made during the delivery process. The bed was easy enough to assemble, although we did have watch a video and found that the both the instructions and the video were tailored for the double and not the single. The gas lift arms wouldn’t move (& we were worried about breaking it) so I contacted Aspire beds. I first tried calling, but their mail box was full so had to email, which didn’t give an immediate response and so we were stuck with the bed in the lifted position overnight, instead of being able to use it. We were told to be a little firmer with the bed and we did manage to get the arms to move. It has been 3 months since we bought the bed and we are really impressed with it.

I purchased this Super King Aspire Beds Ottoman Bed Frame in 2024. At first, it looked good and functioned as expected, but after less than a year, many of the white plastic holders that secure the wooden slats started to crack. The bed can still be used, but it is unstable and wobbly when lifting. The lifting frame doesn’t rise evenly, and the structure shakes, which makes it feel unsafe. I contacted Aspire Furniture, and their support team responded promptly and offered to replace parts, which I appreciate. However, for a Super King bed, the frame really shouldn’t develop this kind of problem within such a short time. This seems to be a design or quality issue that affects the durability and stability of the bed.
