Nerf N-Strike Elite Longshot CS-6 (Blue Version)

Cool Nerf gun! My son loves this! He puts up targets all around the house and does like an obstacle course. It's easy to put together and easy to shoot. The bullets don't get stuck, which happens with some of his other dart guns.

Review by my 10 year old son who bought this: This is an awesome gun. Unfortunately it took a lot of force to attach the trigger to the front gun and my dad had to help me. It also took FOREVER to ship; mine got here in over a month. One of the things that other reviews mentioned was that it had the real 'feel' of a sniper; I agree. If you're trying to ambush your sister, get this. Another problem is that the scope falls off really easily. It has a pretty good range though, 30 or 40 feet usually, so I'd say it's worth getting. I would recommend getting a larger mag for it though since it runs out of darts really quickly.

As a modder, I was stoked to hear of the remake of the Longshot. The ergonomics of the Longshot are just phenomenal, and the grip is my all time favorite Nerf grip. Stock, its performance is bad compared to the Elite blasters (the internals are identical to the original's), you can modify it to fire well over 100 feet per second. If you don't mod, I wouldn't recommend this item unless you want a collectible or just something to tinker with.

Apparently Nerf doesn’t make this anymore. I personally thought it was over priced but I was able to get on sale. My son had this in his top 3 for Christmas presents and he was over the moon!

Our 10 year old is having a blast (excuse the pun) with this. His little brother got the bow and arrow, and they shoot targets around the house. It occasionally jams and requires adult supervision, we bought 75 rounds with it as they do get beat up with frequent use, but this is pretty accurate and we've been shooting bullseyes at 20+ feet.

My 8-year-old is SO PSYCHED! This nerf gun is almost as big as he is. Nerf guns for him are creative, if militaristic, play. He does not really care about actually shooting darts, which is a good thing. The dart mechanism jammed on 14 of his first 16 tries. When it does shoot the distance and accuracy are unimpressive. I had read this in other reviews and tried to steer him toward a more functional model. But he wasn't having it. So, this gets the average of 5 stars (he thinks it is AWESOME) and 1 star (replace "ck" with "p" in crack-shot). Solid 3-star material here.

This thing is HUGE once you put it together. Loads of fun. Kids staked out at the top of the stairs at got friends and family as they came in the door.

I purchased this blaster to do a paint mod to it for display purposes. It’s bigger then I thought it would be. The front barrel extension one shot gun is useless but at least it looks cool. The main blaster it’s self is a classic, and really worth the money.

Wenn es funktioniert, haben Kinder Spaß. Wenn aber regelmäßig die Patronen im Lauf stecken bleiben und die Kinder den Fehler nicht beheben können, ist der Spielspaß gleich Null. Die Wertigkeit und die Haptik lassen zu wünschen übrig. Es war/ist definitiv nicht das Geld wert.
