1 Channel Telephone Recorder

I tried connecting it to our phones in US and the line died but then I took it to Central America and worked fine, just heard the conversations and they are clear, this device records both lines, the only thing we noticed is that on the line that I connected it, does not record the whole conversations while the other line does have a full recording.

If you value your time, please, please do NOT waste your time on this telephone recorder from EOQO storefront!! I spent half of one day trying to force this thing to work. From the start, the CONSTRUCTION of this recorder from EOQO storefront is worse than pathetic! In fact, the physical construction is as bad as the included INSTRUCTION booklet, both of which appeared to have been contrived by a 3rd grader. Apparently, the SOFTWARE was created by the same 3rd grader. The scant pictures for all the different languages in that instruction booklet did not match the actual unit. That 3rd grader also forgot to provide a way to distinguish ON from OFF and provided no way to tell LINE IN from LINE OUT, for example. Removing the so-called COVER to gain access to the charging port, on/off switch and SD card slot was so difficult I was afraid the flimsy thing would fall apart in my hands. That cover is useless anyway, so why not just leave in off, forever. Amazingly, a light did illuminate red while plugged into the charger. Just as amazing, was the fact that by moving the so-called on/off switch one way or another, caused a blinking light to illuminate red on the opposite side of the unit. No files were ever written to the included SD card in spite of lights coming on and off while the phone was in use. And yes, we are plugged into an analog phone. Thinking the supplied SD card may be bad, I attempted using other 8gb and 16gb cards without success. I lost one card because the slot was so sloppy that the card fell into the body of the unit. Total GARBAGE! PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. Most of the other reviews must be LIES!

In my case it did not work well having the DSL modem on the line, low volume and high background noise. Seller was willing to help in diagnosing the issue but Amazon did not allow sending the *.wav file or exchanging directly email addresses. Again, nothing wrong with the seller and the device is simple, convenient and works well if you don't have a DSL internet modem on the same line. If there is a work around this issue, please let me know.

It works all right but you can't leave the USB cord connected because that creates a loud buzzing on the line. So, plug in the USB cord, recover your files, and then unplug the USB cord again. Other than that and some flaky instructions it works fine. My second one came with 16 GB sd card installed, so unless you are on the phone a lot every day, that should last many months. My first one has been in use for a long while and still is ok.

This is very easy to use. Sound quality not the best but that doesn't matter to me.

Cheap, poorly made. memory card does not fit, recording is hit and miss. Definitely a no.

** The first downside is that no 32-GB SD card actually works with this, only 16 or 8 which meant constantly grabbing the SD card and dumping the recordings out into a hard drive. ** After the second week, I started seeing some files that were bad (corrupt). They were un-recoverable! ** The bad files started out with just 1 and now last week I had about 8 different files that were bad. *** At this point, this has stopped recording completely. I have been checking on it every day but nothing! The SD card is clean (0 space used) yet this does not record anymore. In summary: waste of money and time.

Es un poco caro, pero funciona muy bien, la calidad de audio no es la mejor, pero no es nada que no pueda solucionarse con un buen software editor, se carga muy rápido. Aunque aún no sé cuánto tiempo durará la batería.

When i bought it I wasn't sure if it was going to work on my cordless analog phone. I plugged it in and did a test call. I then did a listen to the wav file that was created. It worked! I was just relieved that it worked. It's a very easy setup and a discreet little box.

Garbage. Doesn't record 9/10 of the conversations, it just creates 1kb files that are empty... and when it does work, it's always cut. I only hear the middle of the conversation. Never the beginning, never the end. It's completely unreliable. I will request a refund.
