Better than expected!
Great product. I was skeptical as I’ve only used custom orthotics since I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. That said; I was not trying to spend hundreds again and wait weeks to get them in. I’ve worn the same pair of orthotics for too long and honestly haven’t found anything I’ve liked other than custom fit ones. Well; from the moment I pulled out my old inserts and added the new SOLE inserts; my feet actually felt happy. Not annoyed and in pain like I get with most shoes (if you have plantar fasciitis you know what I mean). Just satisfaction. They offer great arch support, nicely cushioned in all the right places and keeps me flat versus an incline with many other brands of inserts. I let the insoles get used to my feet for a few hours each day and over the last week of wearing them in very impressed. They fit my shoes well and as long as your shoes are loose enough it should be fine.

Fixed My Foot Pain—Now I Put These in EVERY Pair of Shoes 👟 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Quick answers: Do they help with overpronation? Yes Can they be trimmed? Yes Are they good for standing long hours? Yes Do they have a money-back guarantee? Yes Are they made for running? Yes I originally bought these during a bout of plantar fasciitis, alongside physical therapy—and together, that combination worked. But here’s the real reason I’m writing this review: I never stopped using them. Now I put these in every pair of shoes I own. I even buy a half size up when needed just to fit them comfortably. I’ve purchased multiple pairs so I don’t have to keep swapping them between shoes. Why I keep buying them: Noticeably improves comfort in any shoe Great support for long days on your feet Helps with alignment/overpronation Easy to trim for a custom fit Unexpected bonus: I wash them in the washing machine regularly (air dry), and they’ve held up incredibly well—no breakdown, no loss of support. At this point, I truly believe they’re helping keep my plantar fasciitis from coming back. I’ve tried a lot of other brands, and these are the ones I keep coming back to. Bottom line: If you deal with foot pain or just want more support, these are a no-brainer. I’m officially a lifelong fan—will keep buying again and again.

Comfort and fit
Best insoles I’ve ever had. I bought one pair and put them in my work boots. After two weeks they got even better so I bought another pair for my ariat boots. I have narrow feet so my boots always fit a little loose even when I buy b width. With these insoles I have a perfect fit and so comfortable.

Not bad, not great, just good enough
I have had this pair of insoles going on several months in my boots and I have to say....These just don't have the same great feel of my previous pairs. The arch sits to far back for these to be worn long term and I can feel small inconsistencies (ridges and lumps) in the foot bed after an hour or so. The material under the toes is already starting to ball up and toe-holes are starting to form in the foam. Now, I've used Sole insoles for 15+ years while in the military. I didn't have to buy insoles very often due to their EXTREME DURABILITY and long term comfort. I swore by them. I had a pair in my rucking boots and field boots, used them on multiple deployments and in my garrison boots. Even recommended to my soldiers that had debilitating foot issues. In fact, I still have the first pair I bought in my hunting boots and they're still great. Maybe it's the fact that I have them in slip on work boots and not lace-up military boots. Perhaps it's just a fluke. Jury is still out on that. Sole hasn't lost my loyalty yet, and i don't dislike these enough to jump ship... But, if my next pair are this uncomfortable, I think I'll have to find another brand.

Pain Relief From Day One – Sole Active Footbeds
Game changer for my work boots. Heated them, popped them in, and they molded instantly to my feet. Excellent stability from the deep heel cup and very solid, durable feel. They’ve helped a lot with back, knee, and foot pain. Pricey, but 100% worth it.

The best inserts
I’ve been buying these inserts for years now. Every single shoe I have has a pair in it. The inserts helped me get rid of my plantar fasciitis. I will not go without these. I prefer this one with the more rigid rubberized plastic bottoms over the cork bottoms. It lasts a lot longer than the cork that tends to degrade and fall apart a lot quicker. I can wear one insert beyond a year if I wanted to but I get new ones when I get new shoes. It’s awesome in my daily work shoes which are steel toes. You can imagine how uncomfortable those would be without this insert. It’s very cushiony but at the same time very sturdy and supportive. These are the thickest soles they make and I would t want to try or buy other brands or styles. I hope these inserts never go away. I’d say you should try it.

The Best generic insoles on the market
The only retail insole worth buying. They work good when I can't get custom orthotics made. nothing else on the market in the past 10 years even comes close.

These are far the best inner soles I've bought and used in my work boots. Especially once they have been heated up and moulded to your foot.... Don't have an feet, ankle or knee issues using these now. Even when I'm on my feet for 8+ hours...

I like this product for the very good cushioning it provides. I fit this insole into my NB 990 running shoes. The NB 990 is an old school classic style design which has sufficient width and toe room to accommodate the extra thickness of it. I have brisk walked for 5km a few times on this and so far I feel very comfortable and hence I am happy with it, although it is quite an expensive pair of insole to own. Comparing with the other Superfeet insoles I have, this SOLE has much better cushion whereas it is a lot easier to fit the Superfeets into my other slimmer fit sneakers.

Comfortable, good boot fit for a women's Wolverine from Marks Work Warehouse. I had another set I bought last year of the Sole insoles... but I am very hard on shoes and insoles so they look like pancakes now. The new pair have way better support, especially on the heel. I've also tried the Marks Modular insoles but I like Sole heatable insoles better. I do at least 12k steps daily but they are mostly carrying heavy stuff or up and down ladders on pavement, so I need these! Photos are from 1 year of wear vs. new insole. The old ones heel is ground right down and the arch support is gone. The old one also curled up foe some reason.

I'm about two weeks into these and loving them. I bought 4 different brands to try and I don't dare try any of the others, at least not yet. A very good product and feels very good. I think it's rearranging the bones in my foot, which I'm hoping is good. These are firm and have good arch support and are by far the best I received, including super feet orange. I wish the arch support went further forward. It's strong in the back but I could use more in the front. But these are by far the best!

I purchased my first pair of SOLE Active Thick with Metatarsal Pads insoles over 2 years ago and they are still working well! I ordered the SOLE Active Thick Wide insoles this time (though Amazon seems to want to put my review under the narrower, Met Pad version) and wanted to share my initial impressions. I have a 4E width foot and typically favour KEEN boots and shoes because of their wide toe box design. Looking at the picture of the shoes you will notice that the KEEN Casual Oxford Hiker on the right side has the widest toe box of the three, wider than the KEEN Anchorage III Chelsea boot on the left, and even more so than the Clarks Morris Easy Chelsea boot in the centre. When I compare the new Wide version to the Met Pad version from 2 years ago (see other photo), the Wide is approximately 103mm across the widest part vs. only 95mm on the Met Pad version. I placed the Wide insole into the KEEN hiker (back to picture 1 again, on the right) and it seemed to be custom-made as it fit the inside of the KEEN shoe perfectly from edge to edge and heel to toe. Wearing the shoes felt very comfortable, though I haven't had them long enough to "break them in" and have them custom mould themselves to my feet through body heat and wear. One potential concern is that this Wide version does not seem to have the metatarsal pad like the ones I previously bought. I don't know if this will affect the comfort or longevity of this product but I will update over time if I notice any significant variances between the two products. For now, I am confident that this Wide version will perform much like its narrower sibling but just, well - wider. Excellent product for people like me with 4E wide feet and plantar fasciitis. Highly recommended!
