This book is BEAUTIFUL and has a plethora of fun information regarding the universe. This was a gift for my girlfriend on her birthday and she absolutely loved it! Was a great book to pair with a telescope, haha!

Its comprehensive, beautiful and thick! Covers almost everything a space aficionado can wonder about. The family loves it!

This book is full of information for the armature

I did not look over this book in detail because I bought it as a gift. One thought that I had is that it is very bulky and heavy. It is too heavy to hold for very long. A possible fix would be to put it on a DVD. It would need appropriate software to move through the pages and enable search by subject and key words. A regular electronic book would not have the resolution or search capability to do it justice.

First, this book is huge. Both by size and by number of pages. Each page is packed with information, infographs, pictures, diagrams, etc., that really explain and give visual to the information that is being explained. The book is well laid out and allows you to jump around by referencing other parts of the book (by page number) when reading for further explanation/reading on various topics. So really, it's like a wikipedia of the Universe. I found this book to be a bit overwhelming, but only because it's packed with information and there is a lot to gain from it. I would say that this book is probably better suited for teens/adults. It's big, it's heavy, and it's worth every penny.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. This book looks great and covers a lot. It is not too simplistic which is good, and a great starting point for anyone interested in astrophysics. Pictures are great. Not really interested in the astronomy section myself as I live in an area that has severe light pollution But for any budding astronomer the charts are ideal. Definitely worth buying.

Eine wahnsinnig tolle Bücherreihe von DK! Bei Wissensbüchern bleiben wir unbedingt bei diesem Verlag, haben mittlerweile mehr als acht Exemplare im Bücherregal. Da kann jeder noch was lernen. Die Illustrationen sind sehr schön und die Menge an Informationen ist überwältigend. Es macht Spaß, diese durch zu blättern.

La compra fue de un libro con defecto proveniente de Alemania, creo. Tenía el lomo un poco dañado como indicaba en la descripción. Contento por la compra. Ojalá existiera en versión en castellano esta edición de 2020. Debe pesar dos o tres kilos. Actualizado a los últimos años.
