These work for what they are meant for. To place hot pots on a countertop to protect the surface. Thick and good size for everyday pots and pans in the kitchen. They are of good quality materials and easy to store in a drawer with kitchen towels. They look handsome on the counter and do the job. These are flat; in square and round. They seem to have some durability and so they will work for some time. I'd recommend these if you don't want a clunky trivet to take up space on your countertops; but something to fit nicely in a drawer.

I bought these to protect our stovetop from pots and other cooking containers that might scratch it and for use as insulation between our granite countertops and hot cookware. It does these things well, and the trivets stay out and available, which indicates that my wife likes them and doesn't find them to be an eyesore on the counter beside the stove. It was fairly easy to pick a set that would match the countertop. What happens if you turn on a burner under one of these? You have a little time to realize your mistake, but the trivet will not survive. Luckily, you can clean the melted mess off the stove with a bit of elbow grease. In spite of this calamity, the trivets are still popular here. The surface is a honeycomb design, and you might worry that they will be hard to clean. Not so! I usually just wet them, rub gently, and shake off the water over the sink. If the mess is greasy, just use dishwashing soap and water.

It works great. One trivet is about the size of two of my square trivets. It is a "Christmas-y" red so it will be great during the holidays. Another keeper.

Difficult to clean if something is spilled on them.

Exceeded my expectations. Best value not just for the price, but also for the reputation of the maker. The lip around the edge that stops condensation or spills is perfect. The honeycomb design us grippy and stabilizing. Doesn't slide. I have one on the countertop, the sideboard, the coffee table and coffee bar so ppl will use it as a spoon rest ir cup rest without dripping everywhere. 10 seconds under hot water and it's clean, bang it once to get the water out of it and boom, a few mins later it's dry. Very heatproof. Great for handling hot oven casserole pans also great in the microwave on the turntable. True to specs, it is as thick as advertised and it lays quite flush. I purchased this set, because I had just gotten new granite countertop and I wanted a heat resistant pot hold to protect my countertop. They work perfectly. I purchased the black /gray . I received 2 small and 2 large in a pack. Easy to clean it holds hot pots and skillets . I love this set it works perfectly with my kitchen deco and couter tops.

These are great little coloured mats. I use one to sit the teapot on to avoid excess heat on the stone top. They are so good to put under mixing bowls when beating cakes or eggs. The bowl does not move on the mat as it has a lovely honeycomb surface. A mat also helps when you put down hot dishes on the table. I am happy I bought them.

Really great heat resistant and flexibld silicone mats, easy to clean and does not turn dark when you place stuff on them, exactly what I needed. Totally recommend.

A trivet is supposed to be a safe place to put a pot that is hot. But not if it melts. See the picture

These are excellent. I leave one in my Microsoft to catch any spills and it I need you lift out a small dish. It also acts like a placemat pn the table
