Great value!
Works great, worked on my BMW and Mazda very quickly. Much easier than going to auto zone. Tons of preloaded information on the device.

Excellent tool
This is super dependable tool. Very good buy. Was able to plug in and determine I had a bad speed sensor on a 2001 Ford. Thanks Bosch.

No USB cable included with the unit
I have used a Bosch OBD1100 for several years and decided to upgrade to the OBD1200. When it was received, I was very disappointed that Bosch is too cheap to include the required USB cable that allows for attachment to a PC to update the software.

Discontinued by Bosch: software updates and "Code Connect" are not available
Update: The item appears to have been discontinued some time ago. Amazon is advertising capabilities that haven't been available for a good while. Seems to be an adequate code reader, but the item has been discontinued by Bosch. Software updates are not available, nor is the advertised "Code Connect" feature. The "Scanning Suite" may be found from an internet search, but does not appear to be able to detect or interact with the tool over the USB connection. Multiple attempts to update the "Scanning Suite" and diagnostic tool software through "Scanning Suite" resulted in "error transferring file from FTP server" or "there was a problem downloading the update" messages.

Decent scan tool
A very nice basic scan tool, it's well built and it does what you need it to do including ABS codes and airbag codes.

Software and ease of use is user friendly The unit itself is made of really cheap hard plastic that came scratched and marked up Even the screen had marks all on it Doesn’t come with the cable required to connect the unit to a PC
