Perfect split system control option
Replacing our old remote control from the manufacturer proved to be far easier than expected - especially when the HVAC firm who installed & serviced the equipment for 25+ years confirmed none were available. The manufacturer's Rep looked this generic model up on Amazon & confirmed it was a perfect fit. We ordered, easily configured the settings & operated the split system perfectly. Cost - $20.28 compared to $6,250 the HVAC firm quoted to replace our perfectly good system. Doing a little homework saved us tremendously thanks to the generous help of the manufacturer's Rep.

No manual will not work
This product has no manual or online information. This item can not be used properly. Can not recommend.

Does not control all original functions of a MSH15TN Mr. Slim.
Needed a replacement remote for my Mr. Slim MSH15TN. This unit has A/C and Heat capabilities. The remote was able to connect to my unit but it unfortunately only controls the A/C functions and does not operate in Auto mode or heat mode. The remote also has 4 more buttons than were on the original remote(econo cool, powerful cool, wide vane, sleep) all of which are functions that are not in the MSH15TN. That being said I would say that this remote is NOT compatible with the MSH15TN.

Better than expected
Product was perfect installed batteries works like a champ

The quality is subpar.
Firstly, the battery contacts pop out of the housing, which make it impossible to properly seat the AAA batteries. Customer support is slow and difficult to understand. Very low quality remote.
