WaterWorker, 2-Gallon WATER WORKER G5L Expansion Tank, Green

I bought this to replace one of the same model that had completely filled with water on both sides of the diaphragm after about 18 years of service. The included instructions were clear, and since it was an exact replacement, installation was simple. I suspected there was no air left in the old one because (1) water supply pressure was spiking when my water heater was heating after a large hot water use, and (2) my pressure reducing valve was oscillating when water was flowing.

Installed fairly easily. Ended up using liquid teflon instead of teflon tape, as I could not get a wter tight seal with the teflon tape. Otherwise, installed easily and performs as expected.

After having problems with my water pressure, I decided to test it myself with the pressure gage I bought from HomeDepot. After which I found it to be very high, between 70lbs and up to 115lbs at night. After trying to adjust it, found out that my pressure value need to be replaced. The salesman told me that it would be best to add a expansion tank to my system. Rex After my research online, I decided to go with the G-12L because I had a 50gal water heater. I received it in less than a weeks time and in good condition. The only problem I had was were to put it, sence it was bigger then I had expected it to be. So I had to create a place behind the water heater to hang it. Other then that it was a snap following the setup instructions. So far after installing both the value and the G-12l tank, my pressure has been a steady 73lbs, ware I set it, doing the day & night. Yes I would recommended this to others

Seemed a little bit pricier than other models but we thought best to purchase the same as we had before since it held up so well.

Installed easily and has worked fine. Saved some money compared to other sites. If it lasts 7 years like the one it replaced, I'll be happy.

It worked great

I am giving a four star because I am still waiting to see if I will encounter any problem. But so far my new water heater has stopped leaking from the pressure relief valve since after the installation and the most lovely part about this tank, it has helped to increase the water pressure everywhere in the house including the bathroom which has very low water pressure. I will definitely recommend this product to any one but make sure your plumber install it right and adjust the valve on the tank correctly.
