It’s buttery soft & splits 🤪 but worth it!
Yes, it’s that beautiful! Now, will it split- of course. Don’t buy it thinking it won’t. This is expected with the type of yarn it is BUT it is sooo soft! You may be able to find others cheaper BUT I am satisfied. I bought more to finish a reglan sweater. The shine on this yarn is amazing!!Its slippery. Not sure about knitting with it. It may be difficult to knit for new knitter's/ crocheters . So be careful. I absolutely love it for my first bamboo project! I bought coral and I adore the color! It’s light and smooth and sooo buttery soft! The yarn quality is good for what it is. It’s 100g (241 yd)light weight 3 yarn. Perfect size (about the palm of my hand). Good value but I do think you can find others cheaper. I’m hoping it will wash well - says machine wash cool, gentle cycle an lay flat to dry!

It’s perfect!
Lion Brand Truboo is hands down my favorite yarn for crocheting cardigans. The texture is incredibly soft and silky, which gives finished pieces such a beautiful, lightweight drape. It feels amazing against the skin—perfect for garments you actually want to wear all day. I especially love how easy it is to work with. It glides smoothly on the hook, doesn’t split easily, and creates really clean, even stitches. The finished fabric has a polished, almost elegant look that makes any cardigan feel a little more high-end. Another big plus is how breathable it is, which makes it great for layering in different seasons. I’ve made multiple cardigans with Truboo, and they’ve all held up nicely while keeping their softness and shape. If you’re looking for a yarn that combines comfort, quality, and a gorgeous finish, this one is definitely a go-to. I’ll keep reaching for it for every cardigan project!

Beautiful yarn but…
Beautiful yarn but do be aware that bamboo yarn does tend to split so you need to crochet more carefully. The finished product is well worth it. My cardigan came out so soft.

Not Lilac but a beautiful light silvery blue
It’s always a risk when buying strictly for the color you see on your screen but that’s a risk one takes when buying off the internet. I would definitely not call this Lilac but it is certainly a lovely shade of silver and when the light hits it just right, it becomes a light silvery blue. If you are buying with hopes that this is a lavender lilac color, it is not. It’s a beautiful quality and a lovely soft textured yarn though and I do want to order more to make a bigger blanket! Something else I do love about this yarn is the lightness of the weight. It’s not heavy at all and will make a beautiful lightweight blanket for my babies this summer. Acrylic yarn tends to be heavier, more stiff, a bit course, and certainly warmer but this is a silky, soft, cotton-esque texture and so beautiful!

Amazing bamboo yarn for the price - be aware it is splitty and has no recovery/tends to stretch!
This yarn is extremely splitty, but most cotton and viscose/rayon yarns are, so that was expected! Otherwise, it is extremely soft. It tends to pill a bit/get fuzzy and also is quite stretchy with very little recovery. I do not suggest this yarn for a structured garment or anything with negative ease, because it WILL stretch (I discovered this after knitting a tnak top in this yarn that slowly began to fall off my body by end of day). It is lovely for a loose garment for the summer, however, and I've made around 3 lace sweaters for the summer with it before. This was my third time using this yarn and I will definitely buy it again, because for the price, it is an extremely nice bamboo yarn. As a last note, whenever I use this yarn, I sew elastic thread into the collar and it works wonderfully to avoid stretching permanently at the neckline - I do this with my 100% cotton sweaters too and rlly recommend this technique to get the most out of these yarns!

Super soft!
Now I'll admit I didnt pay enough attention to the yarn size in the description when I bought it I just saw the color and thought," This is the shade I need for the project I have in mind!!" Then proceeded to buy what I thought I would need based on the yardage alone ( yes I realize now how terrible of an idea that was.) Luckily for me after swatching and checking the gauge I should still have enough for my project. The yarn is on the smaller side, but that is already in the description. It's SOFT. The fabric you end up making when knitting especially is so nice and drapey and the color gives off this light sheen that is just So NICE. I'll definitely be buying this again.

Soft and smooth! Not irritating
I don’t usually write reviews but I really love this yarn, however there are two caveats : It is somewhat difficult to foundation crochet with due to some mild yarn splitting (then again FC is not my strong suit. the WHITE color way was nearly impossible to chain without splitting every time so I gave up, but Slate and other color ways like blue/purple have worked out fine). Secondly, bamboo fibers retain moisture quite WELL if you decide to wet block. Takes a while to dry and ended up using a blow dryer on cool to prevent felting. I began using Truboo a few years ago when I became a more intermediate crocheter and love the texture of the product it works up — So soft and smooth and not like traditional acrylics or wools that tend to irritate my skin. Quite thin if you’re looking to SC but worth it IMO. Love!

Great price and colors, free shipping with prime
You can't go wrong with Truboo - it is soft, there are great color options, and the price on Amazon is better than from their website (no shipping cost with Prime). I would definitely purchase again

This was my first time trying Lion Brand yarn and definitely not my last! This yarn is amazing, very light and ideal for summer garments with nice stitch definition. It also has a subtle silky finish. Beautiful and so soft!

El color que muestran, no es ni cerca del color que te mandan. Pedí el tono goldenrod porque le combinaba perfecto a un proyecto y no me sirvió
