Desktop Vacuum Cleaner

I wasnt sure how well this would work at first since it is so compact. I originally got this to clean my desk that my PC is on but then I decided to try it for the first time on my TV table (bedside table). I was pleasently suprised how well it worked. Easy to move around and looks really nice for something so simple. It has good suction and was able to clean the crumbs off the table. My peers were suprised it was a mini vacuum. It does not come with batteries so youll need AAs. It also can fill up quickly since its not that large and if it is full the suction isnt as good which is a given. Overall, really happy with the purchase.

I really appreciate this desk vacuum. I easy to use, easy to clean, and the battery last quite a long time. It does not take up much space in my desk organizer. It looks sleek and has a clean aesthetic, which matches my desk when I actually clean it up. It isn't a powerful vacuum, and I wouldn't use it to clean a keyboard, but for bits of paper, food crumbs, cut fingernails, dust, and random debris, this does the trick. To empty, you just separate the two sides and dump the trash. I sometimes rinse the parts and even use a q-tip to get some dust out of the inside, and then let the parts air dry. One of my favorite office accessories that I own.

When I bought this originally, I was hoping it would be able to help me clean dust around my desk, keyboard, and other areas where it could fit without making a whole affair out of dusting and wiping down surfaces. The vacuum suction is not strong enough to suck up fine layers of dust, however. It is very effective at scooping up crumbs and other larger particles. This makes it great to use for cleaning for cleaning my desk after eating, especially if there are crumbs on the mousepad. The battery life is also great. As long as you have a realistic expectation for what you're planning to get out of it, it is a great buy for the price.

I tend to snack at my desk. When I do, it leaves behind little piles of crumbs that are hard to clean because I don't want to just wipe them off onto the floor (because bugs), or blow them away with my duster because then they shoot everywhere and get in my peripherals, and under my mouse mat. So instead, I reach for this handy vacuum and it perfectly sucks up my crumbs without causing a mess. I'm seeing tons of people reviewing this product criticizing it's suction power, saying it's weak and so on, but I'm not sure what they were expecting from a ~$12 handheld vacuum. Don't buy this thinking its going to power clean your work area or pick up caked on messes. This is essentially a handheld crumb cleaner. At first I was skeptical because I couldn't feel any real suction with I passed it over my hand, and in addition to that, there is a gap between the suction hole and the contact area due to brushes on the underside, so I definitely didn't believe it would work, but passing the vacuum over the crumb area surprisingly cleaned them all up! It took about 2-3 passes but they were all gone, and even had the telltale satisfying crackle of vacuuming up the mess. Like I said, I wouldn't expect this to do a deep clean of crevices (e.g. the gaps of a keyboard) or pick up anything more than crumbs, but for little maintenance cleans this thing is great!

It works. It vacuums. The bristles on this are really short and stiff....this is literally only meant for table top type surfaces. Doesn't work well on keyboards or mouse pads and things like that. I would look else where if that is what you were wanting. Really, really needs longer bristles. Softer (flexible) too.

Easy to set up and use. Very efficient. Going to enjoy this little item.

I have no idea what they mean by rating the thickness, but I love this gadget so much, as to declare it perfect in every way. I originally bought it for a different purpose, but it wasn't suited for it (Guinea pig droppings). However, I have found it to be great for many other quick clean ups. Like: popcorn or cookie crumbs on freshly vacuumed carpets, dusting the lamp shades, running it over the top of the couch cushions. I clean often, but this little baby finds dust I didn't know I had. But, my favorite use was when I spilled a tray of tiny craft beads. Started to cry, then thought I would give it a try. It was absolutely ideal for quickly rounding them up. Just make sure you empty it after each use! I have not used it on my desk, but I am sure it will work perfectly. I am off to order more for Christmas gifts.

Once the filter is clocked, you can trash this desk vacuum. The issue is that its filter gets clogged with small particles and it stops sucking, and rendering it useless. Even though the filter can be removed, you will never get properly cleaned again. I tried to use air blower (with a compressor) and a Dison vacuum without any luck.
