Good DIY product that can replace professional exterminator bills
Two Year update: These stations have been working great for two years now. The only slight downside is that a few of the metal pins to hold the bait have disappeared, so we use a small piece of a coat hanger to replace. (There are two in each bait box). After years of paying $750+ per year to have mouse control done by exterminator, I decided to do some research and concluded that with a couple hours per year, I could get the same result for a fraction of the price and without managing another service provider at my house. I combined them with bait from "JT Eaton 709-PN Bait Block Rodenticide Anticoagulant Bait, Peanut Butter Flavor, Green" (also purchased on Amazon). Three of my six Bait Stations were completely empty at ~ 4 weeks so I know they're working. Instructions are a little confusing, but the process was simple: I loaded two bait squares on each of two metal rods and placed the rods horizontally in each bait station (the can also stack, but easier for me to poke the metal rods through and rest the rods horizontally in the station grooves). Mice and rats are territorial so if the bait is being eaten, these are doing there job! Unfortunately, the kit only includes one key, so make sure not to lose it, otherwise it's a $15 replacement.

Love these!
These boxes are worth every penny! So glad I bought six pack. Never had a mice issue until this fall/winter. Would definitely recommend. Heavy duty. Just don’t lose the x1 key!

effective poison bait station
Well made and easy to install/ service. Cost is higher than expected for such a simple item. We have 24 bait stations on 20 acre site and have seen zero rodent damage. Bait is getting consumed and rodents dies off somewhere off site.

Exterminators Choice - 6 Pack Rat Bait Station Boxes with 1 Key
My son has a mouse problem at his neighborhood. Purchased these to tackle this problem. There are a lot of these type of traps out there, but these were very heavy. The only thing I did was to drill holes and attach some concrete bases to them using plastic anchors, so they don't move in our West Texas winds, or their dogs turn them over just being curious. Quality traps, easy to open and service. (Only thing I wish was different, is that the 6 traps only came with one key. Had to purchase extra keys, in case one was lost or misplaced.) After several months, the mouse problem is under control!

Took awhile to work but very effective
With having a chicken coop in our backyard for several years, we’ve seen an increase in rats after the sun goes down. I’d go out to the coop at night to close the door and they would scatter like crazy. I live in an older neighborhood with well established plants everywhere so I know there are a ton of rats in the area. Bought these and paired with some rat bait. Put a few of these around the chicken coop, A/C unit, and front of the house by my cars. After sitting out there for about two weeks, I thought there were useless. Went on vacation for a week and suddenly started getting messages from someone watching our house that they kept finding dead rats all over my property. Ten dead rats within a week. If rats are anything like gophers, they may be able to smell human scent on the cases. I didn’t wear gloves when putting these out but I’m sure the rats smelled my scent. After that wore off, they started going in and eating the poison. These worked very well for what I had going on at my house. The important thing with these cases are to put them exactly where you know the rats are going. Put one or two sticks of poison in them and leave them alone. Once the lid is shut, they secure very well. So much cheaper than hiring an exterminator. These will last for many years and rid you of your rat problem. Just be patient and wear gloves!

What's for dinner?
Strong, durable, good value and ample size and the green color is ideal for discreet outdoor placement. Positive lock/catch - comes with only one key to open the lid so don't misplace it. Easy options to mount the bait either by affixing to plastic posts or placing on metal rods both included. Provides ample room for 4 baits and will feed whatever vermin enters the diner for dinner.

Still testing …..
Pros : Color goes well with the yard. Cons. It only gives you one key. No instructions whatsoever. We had to figure out how to put it together ourselves. We almost sent it back. No rats yet so hard to tell if it works
