great add on
a great add on to cnc machine would say a must to shut your machine down quickly. easy to install mount and connect to control board

Handy little switch with no directions
Nice little Emerg Stop Switch. It fits a 5/8” hole (0.620). Be careful where you mount it as threaded shaft is about 3/8” long. If you mount it to the upright of a cnc, you will find you cannot use the included nut so I siliconed my switch in the hole. There are no directions with this switch and I believe it is intended to be mounted to a sheet metal plate. Your cnc controller may or may not have pins soldered in the circuit board so you may need to solder in pins.

Works as expected, may require minor rewire if you don't have the actual "PROVer". Like many other reviewers I had to swap the red wire from the outer "NC" terminal to the middle "NO" terminal. A few minutes of soldering. Not a big deal.

Worked OK with adjustment, but I didn't read the listing well so its my fault.
I ordered this for my 3018 pro. Turns out this is specifically for the models mentioned, and was a little inconvenient but otherwise fine for mine. Clearly I have a problem reading. This is a NC switch, and the board I have expects NO, so the operation was backwards. Easy to fix by rewiring the back of the switch with a soldering iron. Very short wires about 6-8 inches; plan to extend the wires or to install it very close to your control board.

Smaller than photo shows but works as intended
Perfect, yet tiny, "kill" switch for the multitude of 3018 style desktop CNC engraver machines. Yes, it is pretty light duty but remember it's designed as emergency kill switch, hopefully rarely needed and not a main power button. I 3D printed a mounting plate and mounted the switch, ran wires to the controller board and it tested fine. Now I have one more safety to kill the machine when I do something stupid! 😏

Didn't Work
The switch was wired incorrectly, worked after I re-wired the correct contact on the switch Needed NO terminal wired not NC. When it arrived it worked as an Emergency ON switch not an Emergency OFF switch it was supposed to be.

Works fine, cute.
For a desktop CNC it's just the right size. For a 2880 lb 2.5HP milling machine, it's comically small. I didn't read the description well enough. But I'll keep it for a 3D printer.

Well made and complete wiring ready to plug in.
I will use the Emergency Stop Switch to run my Genmitsu Router safely so that when programming is not perfect and things go wrong I can switch off immediately.

Bought this to replace the on/off switch on our tread mill and works great so far not the recommended way of having an emergency shut off on a treadmill but works for us
