I love this light. It is in my bathroom and is motion activated. It lights up my bathroom at night with a soft light that doesn't hurt my eyes when I make the nightly trip. It is very simple, very clean and the light is just so warm and comforting. Battery life so far is great. For what it is, a nightlight, it is of good quality and does the job.

My wife always turns on the bathroom lights when she needs to go in the middle of the night. This always wakes me up because I sleep on my side facing the bathroom and I'm somewhat light sensitive, so when I saw this item come up on Prime day I took a chance on it. I'm glad I did. It's kind of lightweight, and the underside where you insert the batteries exudes a bit of an air of cheapness, but once it's set up, it does the job. Ever since I set it on a cabinet shelf in our bathroom I have slept peacefully throughout the night. The light is not that bright. You cannot read by it, but it IS bright enough you can see whatever you need to see to get the job done. If it doesn't sense your motion for a while - about 15 seconds, it shuts off, which can leave you in the dark if you're in the middle of a stand-up type of operation, however, a wave of the hand, or any other part of your body, will turn it on again. The light has three settings off - on - and motion detection. I suppose you could use the on switch if you're using it for an emergency lamp, but for the most part all you need to do is leave it set for motion detection. If a light is already on it doesn't turn on, which is nice. How long the batteries last, though, is anybody's guess. It takes three AA's. Since the light is an LED I would guess a set of batteries will last a long time, however, the circuit DOES have to stay active to detect motion, so it's really not so cut and dried. Time will tell. If you have areas in your house where people are sometimes traipsing about in the dark, this is probably a good item to have.

I have used this brand of sensor lights for many years now and when I want more for whatever reason I always buy these. The prices have increased through the years but what hasn't. The quality remains the same, very well made and do what they claim to do. This newer style uses AAA batteries and my older ones use AA. They last a long time, though. I have used these for night lights, in halls and bathrooms and front porches, and currently have this new one out on the porch since it gets dark so early during the winter months. I took two of my older ones to a family members house to put at the top of the stairs and one on the landing halfway down because it's so dark and the steps are steep. I don't like a full time light on outside due to the owls and other wildlife and this is perfect. The light is soft but effective and doesn't stay on too long once you are out of range. I've also used these when our power goes out, which it does fairly often. They can be turned on to stay on or set for motion detection, or turn completely off. They are weighted enough at the bottom they stay put and don't topple over, they have a nice clean but elegant look, and I have yet to find anything I like better than these. I buy a few every year or two just to have more of them as the uses are literally almost endless. I like the replaceable batteries over rechargeables simply because it's easy to keep batteries on hand but if the power goes out for long rechargeables can be a problem. These have saved us in many a storm. The video makes the light a bit more harsh than it actually is. It's a nice warm light.

This is an excellent little night light that I use in my home for my elderly dog. I like that it is free standing so I can move it easily from area to area. It is very stable with a very low footprint. I put a couple of these along a hallway on auto so they turn on as my dog walks down the hall as she is old and gets disoriented/stressed when she cannot see and being 17 her eyesight is not great. I like that it gives a soft warm glow so that it doesn't disrupt our circadian rhythms and it does give off enough light to be a nice bedside light if you want something sleek and affordable. My one gripe is that I wish this could be recharged. We use rechargeable AAA batteries, but it would be so much easier if this was rechargeable. I also wish that the font for the on-off-auto label was a little easier to read, but otherwise it works great and we have purchased multiples of this lamp

I bought this light to guide me into the bathroom at night. I have MS and will walk and bump into walls along the way as I easily become disoriented. I don't lime turning on the main light when my husband is sleeping so I went on a search Gor a night light that is battery powered since there are no plugs in the water closet. I didn't have high hopes for this little light but it is everything i wanted and more. The motion detection is quick and turns on when I first enter the room. The light isn't overpowering and is the perfect amount to see where I'm going so that I stay safe. The light stays on during motion and a few seconds after motion has stopped which is just enough time to safely make it back to bed. The light is so convenient that I have found no need to turn on the overhead light at all anymore, even in the day. I will probably be ordering more for our other bathrooms.

We use this little motion light for my elderly mother. As she gets up in the dark the light turns on....not too bright, but more than enough to allow her to turn on a larger light if needed. Works great. Good battery life as well.

The light is cute, but the motion sensor doesn’t work.

Great for the hallway. Sensor controlled and helps me move around the house without stumbling or falling over!!!!

Works as advertised. I have it in a bathroom as a night light and it gives a nice warm glow. I would prefer the sensor light staying on longer as it shuts off quickly. I would suggest using rechargeable batteries; if the light is kept on permanently during the night, the batteries need replacing frequently.
