Hassle-free no-nonsense audio interface that also works flawlessly as a DAC/AMP
The Evo 4 is a great beginner audio interface that also doubles up as a DAC/AMP and works quite well. It has helpful features that make the setup process easy and hassle-free, especially if you're new to using an interface. Features like smart gain, phantom power, audio loop back and monitor mixing make it easier to work with and this is all brought to life in a small form factor that's easy on the eyes. It is connected via USB-C to USB-A and works flawlessly. It comes bundled up with free downloadable software that is made available once you have registered your product. This is has replaced my Soundblaster X G6 and is quite a step up in terms of audio quality. Using the setup with a DT 900 pro X and an Audio technica ATR-2100 USB connected via XLR. A few tips for potential buyers: For a single XLR mic connection, be sure to plug your mic into the second channel for stereo recordings. The chat/monitor mix does not work with a separate dac/amp or sound source, it only works when you have your input and output connected to the EVO 4. Dynamic mics don't usually need phantom power so you should be fine without using it when setting one up. You are able to control every setting through the downloaded app and through physical controls. Getting used to them might take a day or two, but once you do, it makes it very easy and intuitive and you'll be surprised at how effective it all is.

Best budget audio interface
Best entry grade interface. Even though it's entry grade the amplification quality is very good in this price and it's single knob can control all gain, volume. It is very handy can be taken anywhere and compatible with both condenser mic and dynamic mic and provides decent gain for gain hungry mics such as Shure SM7B and SM57.

The best
This is the best value for money there is in audio interfaces. For just about Rs.11k we get 96KHz 24-bit sampling, two excellent mic prepamps with absolutely low noise floor compared to others in this category, two balanced XLR combo inputs and jazzy but functional and usable controls. The design is a bit quirky and I was skeptical in the beginning, planning on returning it if it were unusable. However, after a day of working with it, I must say it turned out much better than I expected.. the single control dial was a bit painful but not as much as I imagined.. after getting used to it now I prefer this interface to the multiple dials of others. It may be because being the sole dial, a lot of focus has been put on it in the design - it has a high quality feel with good tactile steps, LED bar showing the setting and a big enough size. The same LED bar switches to showing the current signal level a couple of seconds after adjusting the control. I would have preferred dedicated level meters, but this is not bad. As a bonus, we get a PC application through which all the controls can be accessed and adjusted without having to touch the hardware itself and also save and retrieve the configurations - so no hassles of having to match the settings across sessions! The PC application can also update the firmware in the device. Much has been made of the smart gain feature, but I found it faster to just set the gain manually looking at the level in the DAW or the LED bar. If you do not mind the chunky box look and the dust-prone top-mounted controls, this is THE interface to go for.. everything else about it is just great.

Great small home recording studio bundle
The most attractive thing with it that this product is from Audient, UK and it's auto gain audio interface, an all in one bundle, perfect for a small home studio but you need to sound proof that first for a good quality output, headphone has a good and crystal sound but very tight on ears, mic is above average and good, i am facing some issue with auto gain, which is giving higher output than needed, i have to set that again. all in all it's a great buy in this price (i got it in less than 20k) and perfect for small home studio, if you're an audio person.

Good product, Worth the purchase
Worth purchase for someone who needs 4 microphone inputs at the same time. Works fine Waveform DAW and other DAW's, but if you're using Audacity then You should change the DAW because it can record only 2 inputs at a time.. All the 4 mic inputs and loopback can be used at same time ... Compact for someone needs a portable device Some people complain about plastic build quality but it's fine, nothing to worry about.

I was looking to upgrade a Focusrite Solo and Line 6 M20d to do some band recordings. One only had two channels and the other while it can work as an interface, has about 2.5 seconds of latency and needed extra gear to get Headphone mixes. I saw the reviews of the Evo 16 and decided to give it a go. Did my first proper recording session yesterday and it worked perfectly; Cue mixes with "more me", simple level setting and instant response. I had never bothered with Talkback before but setting the function button to Talkback using the laptop built-in mic array worked great. What I hadn't expecting to use was the optical I/O but I have connected a Helix to this (with a converter) and it simplifies connections while keeping everything digital. If you need more than 4 channels of input and are working to a budget serious consider the Evo 16
