I love this shower unit!!!! I would have given it 5 stars except that when our contractor installed it he had a problem because the unit was too short. We ended up buying an extension to highten the rain shower head to a decent hight. He later discovered that you had to unscrew one of the knobs to release the extension bar inside to highten the shower. This wasn't mentioned in the instructions. Anyway, it made installation a bit frustrating for him and more time consuming as we had to wait to get the unnecessary extension. We couldn't unuse the extension because it impacted where the holes were drilled. Anyway, now that it is installed, it looks beautiful. It is a true black matt which is exactly what I wanted. I have a white subway tile surround, and the look of the bathroom is farmhouse. The shower itself works great. I didn't think the rainshower head would be as strong as it is. I thought it would be like sprinkles, but it really gives a nice shower. You have to move a circular knob to switch to the hand held, and I wish it was a simple flip like it is to switch from bath to shower, but this is a minor inconvenience. I have been using it daily for about a month, and find it to be very sturdy. I expect it to last many, many years. As for its final presentation, I give it 5 stars. Fewer stars given due to the installation hassle.

We had purchased two of these sets for a bathroom remodel. Product was beautiful, high quality, and an outstanding packaging for protection. Due to unforseen changes , we couldn't use them in our new home. In working with the customer service team, we were able to coordinate a return on the product. This team went above & beyond in terms of communication, tracking, and return logistics. Can't say enough! will defnately consider Gonovo for future product needs!

It's only been a few weeks since installation (in a clawfoot tub) but the shower seems to work great. Had to buy a vertical extension bar (don't know why it's not included as part of the kit. I'd happily pay an extra $15-20 up front). You will also need a horizontal extension from the vertical shower pipe to the wall if you are installing on a clawfoot tub. You will also need an adjuster kit to bring the connection holes close enough to fit the distance between the holes in the clawfoot tub. Be sure to ask for the kit that has a long enough extension to go through the holes in the clawfoot tub and still have enough to screw on the water supply lines. I had to return the first kit and receive a 2nd one with longer stubs. Good news about needing these extras is that the email response to questions is good and fast. Brass finish looks great. The on/off turn in a counter intuitive way (one is clockwise and the other is counterclockwise). No big deal. Also the on-off is a 1/4 or 1/2 turn so it makes adjusting the water flow and temperature sensitive. Best solution is to turn your water heater temperature down to the temperature you need at the shower. Then all you need is to turn the hot water on and not have to cool it down with some cold water. Energy saving. Bottom line - Yes I would buy this item again from this vendor.

Works without leaks. Only issue I experienced is my drain offset and whole shower system is more than a few inches off the wall so the 2” support provided wasn’t sufficient enough so I had to support the system using other product. The system is unstable without support, no support extension provided. ALSO probably not a product for someone who is over 5’8” tall as I am 5’5” and fit under the head fully extended with little headspace -installed in a typical vintage tub.

I had a handyman do the initial installation of this so I can’t speak on the level of ease for that. As is, the shower head on this item was not high enough for me with it coming up just above my head. This is because I have it on a claw foot tub and I have to step up higher than others. I contacted the seller who was very nice and timely sent me a pipe to extend it another foot (which was easy for me to do) and now it is perfect. The hardware to support it was purchased at the local hardware store so if you have a setup similar to mine you will have to source those separately (1/2 inch split ring pipe hanger, threaded rod cut to the length away from the wall, ceiling flange). Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase, the price was wayyy better than similar items in the main hardware stores, the quality is great, the aesthetic is beautiful and charming, and the customer service was a pleasure.

I was excited to find this bathroom shower fixture. I appreciated the polished chrome, rainfall shower head and handheld spray. I needed to mount the faucet to the side of a tub so it was necessary to purchase a clawfoot tub adapter. When installed, however, the faucet was below the outflow for the tub, violating the plumbing code. I needed an adapter with longer arms that would lift the faucet above the tub outflow. Customer service suggested an adapter with longer extended threads and seemed unable to understand that I needed an adapter with longer arms. I searched in vain for an alternative. As can be seen from the photo, the shower pole needed to be about 16” from the wall. Customer service assured me that this could be done, advising me to purchase multiple 3.9” wall mounting extensions to link together. I’m not convinced that these are designed for linking as the set screws did not line up. My plumber refused to use this setup as he did not trust the rigidity of the linked pieces. He was concerned about liability should someone fall in the shower. I was not able to find a one piece extender. I ended up having to buy a gooseneck faucet to get the water flow above the tub outflow. Customer service had been cheerfully confident that we could make this system work. When I indicated that I had to get a different faucet she came back with another option which didn’t address the problem I had described. When I asked for authorization to return the faucet I was met with silence. I wasted nearly $200 not counting the four times my plumber tried to make this work.
