It's literally just an extender for your Sata Power Cable. Nothing more, nothing less. It's also really flat and fit perfectly snug against the back of my case. It's hooked up to my boot drive so I'd notice if it didn't work. It's been about a week, I think I can say that it's safe. I got this for cable management reasons and it's worked wonderfully.

I ordered two cables. One for immediate use and the other for a future upgrade for my desktop computer. I was mistakenly sent 1 correct cable and 1 incorrect cable. As soon as I reported the error, they offered a refund or ship a replacement immediately. Great quality when I was handling it. Did its job perfectly.

Worked perfect for adding a small boot drive for my plex server when I did not have a slot to spare. Bought this is a 60 gb SSD. I was situated and installing the OS in 10 minutes. Cable looked well made and gave me just enough room to get power where it would not normally feed.

I really have no issues at all with this extension cable. It works as intended and is great. I used it to extension the power cable SATA, to extend the power cable from my PSU to my DVD-ROM since my DVD-ROM and hard drive use the same cable I couldn't have the DVD-ROM in the top slot on my PC but had to use the bottom. The extension cable allowed me to use the top slot.

This is a great cable that does exactly what I needed it to do. It's being used as an extender from an unused SATA cable connector to a StarTech PCI Express card that requires power for the USB 3.0 ports that the card provides. The cable is sturdy, with strong, durable connectors, yet it is flexible enough to snake it's way through to where it connects from to where it needs to connect to on the PCI Express card. This is a really good, high quality cable.

I had a 4-SATA power cable chain from the PSU that was difficult to connect all four drives. Using an extension cable made the job so much easier. When doing a case swap, I pulled out all the connectors and noticed the plastic on the male end (part of the L shaped plastic piece under the metal pins) of the extension cable broke off. It is still usable as the tab prevents upside-down insertion. I had to be careful knowing which way I was connecting. The hard drive worked fine and find no need to replace the cable.

I recently built a computer for my Fraternity, and this was one of the products that I used to help make this build a success. Since I was building in a ATX Full-Size tower, my power supply SATA cables simply couldn't reach across the whole case. I used a few of these to help extend the reach of my cables and allow for a neat, organized cable management solution. The connectors feel like they are built extremely well, and they fit perfectly. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with this product!
