Good little telephone. I like that it has caller ID. The only recommendation that I would make, is that the display screen should have a backlight.

Good old fashion corded phone not issues..

I am using an adapter to connect my cell phone to this receiver via bluetooth and it works great! The phone is very lightweight and extremely functional. Love the caller ID (although be aware you do need batteries for this function). Volume and other settings are extremely customizable. Love having a "real" phone again!

It developed a problem where the dialling out didn't work anymore. If I plug an old phone in it's place, it dials out fine. With this phone, 3 months old, it doesnt dial out. I can still recieve calls on it, just dialing doesn't work. Edit: I was able to get it to work again by unplugging the handset from the spiral cord and then replugging in. I think dust/dirt worked it's way in there and made the dialing function not work, even though it had a dial tone. Anyways, it works for now.

For those needing a simple phone for desk or wall, this is it. Nothing fancy. Caller ID is a plus. Ringer is loud.

Really disappointed with this device, the screen is hard to read, you need AAA batteries and the worst thing is that the device doesn't ring when you receive a call, I requested technical support with no response at the time.

Perfect for a house phone! I always keep one for the kids and emergencies. Volume is not too loud and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Very happy with my purchase.

These phones are a great and handy little phone, especially if you're looking for a basic phone. The display is battery powered, so they'll even work during a power outage. There are only two down sides to them though.... 1) The display is not back-light, which under some conditions can make it hard to read, though it does work as it should 2) If you're mounting them to a wall, they're a bit too easy to accidentally knock off the hook, so just be careful if you plan to use them as a wall phone. It should also be noted that you can tell when the batteries die. When you pick up the receiver and place it to your ear, you'll hear a single click sound, which sometimes comes a couple of times during the call. This is because the phone is being powered by the current of the phone line itself, rather than the batteries in them. This is a simple fix though... Just replace the batteries, and this problem will go away. They even work well for quite some time on rechargeable batteries, which is a big plus in my opinion. The only other thing worth noting is that the phone cord between the base and the receiver as well as the phone cord to plug the phone into the jack are built into the phone itself and cannot be removed, so if you want to use this phone from a distance from the phone jack, your best option is to invest in a phone extension cable. As for the receiver, I do not know of any way to make it longer. For my purposes though, this is not a problem, as I can bring the jack to the phone, and do not need the receiver cord to be overly long.

J'ai été agréablement surpris lorsque j'ai reçu ce téléphone. Je ne m'attendais à rien d'extraordinaire compte tenu du faible prix exigé. Or, lorsque j'ai déballé l'appareil j'ai immédiatement ressenti une impression de qualité. De plus je le trouve assez joli. Le son est très bon également. J'avais deux critères lorsque j'ai acheté ce téléphone: 1- Il ne devait pas occuper trop d'espace sur le petit bureau auquel il était destiné. 2- Il devait absolument avoir un afficheur. C'est bien le cas et je suis donc très satisfait. Habituellement les téléphones dotés d'un afficheur viennent avec un petit transformateur qu'il faut brancher dans le mur. Ce fut donc une surprise pour moi de découvrir que ce téléphone est autonome et n'a nul besoin d'être branché dans une prise électrique pour afficher les appels. Il suffit d'insérer trois piles AA à l'intérieur de l'appareil pour activer l'afficheur. Sans piles le téléphone fonctionne normalement mais n'affiche pas les appels. Son seul défaut est la grosseur de l'afficheur. Comme il s'agit d'un appareil compact l'afficheur a été placé sur le dessus du combiné et par conséquent n'est pas bien grand, ce qui le rend difficile à lire lorsque l'éclairage est faible. Cela ne m'empêche cependant pas de recommander fortement cet appareil dont le rapport qualité-prix est selon moi imbattable. Surtout si vous avez besoin d'un appareil qui occupe peu d'espace sur un meuble ou au mur.

Bought this for an old kitchen wall jack. The caller ID print is too small for me. Otherwise the phone is fine.
