Mrs. Stewart's Bluing 8oz

This stuff is amazing for my towels and whites. I will never use anything else. Be careful not to use too much or make your clothes blue one tiny bottle will last forever as you only need a couple of drops. It’s so good everybody comments on my whites being the nicest Whites they’ve ever seen.

Veeery good! Few drops into a glass of water (I have a fake chemistry bottle that is excellent for this) mixed till no streaks and ready to use. I use my dilution loaded into the fabric softener (middle) compartment of the washing machine on the extra rinse and spin program once main wash is up. This means if I wash whites with other light colours I can take those out and out back in for a final extra spin altogether and nothing turns blue. The other day I took out on of my muslin face rags with light colours and the difference could be seen between that one and all the others that the blueing returned to their glorious crisp white colour. I use this for any cotton or linen fabric that's pure white. It's really powerful, so sky blue dilution is plenty for a good bunch of clothes / linen, I followed Rajiv Surendra's YouTube video on this, but only make up what I need at the time. Bottle will last me a long time.

I saw this on a social media video. It’s does seem to help make things whiter but the bottle seems to leak a bit around the lid and it’s soooo blue you need to be careful not to stain surfaces. I’m pretty sure this is much cheaper on the US but you only need a very small amount so I’m sure it will last me a long time.

Research is needed because this will stain your clothes if used improperly, but once you know what you're doing it should work just as intended. So far I've had no issues and I'm happy with this. You can find videos on YouTube which explain in detail how much to use (a very small amount!) and how to use it. I'd also recommend trying it on something that doesn't matter so much first, like an old white T-shirt or a towel, which is what I did.

Do not use on white clothing it will literally ruin your white sheets.

It didnt remove old stains. I think they should have a measurement cup to give the best result from this product. My shirts didn't come out whiter.

Adding this cool blue tone liquid into the white wash really makes them crispy white! Some friends have even asked how I keep my shirts looking so new. Ease of use - would be great if it was already diluted as I have to keep a special bottle or container handy to dilute it in and pour in the machine, doesn't smell though and works great.

This is fantastic! All my whites are like new again! I add 3-4 drops to a jug and fill with water. Once my washing machine is on the go I pour this into the draw. When I open the door hey presto beautiful white clothes socks towels it does everything white. A little really does go along way. Don’t use it without diluting it first the water it’s in should be a pale blue otherwise you run the risk of blue whites.
