8-piece Measuring Set

These rock! I have purchased stainless steel measuring utensils in the past because I wanted some that the measurements didn't rub off and that didn't break and split like the plastic ones. Well, the measurements didn't rub off, but the cups were not one solid piece and they bend really easily. They worked, they were just not quite what I wanted, and I thought they were a little pricey (around $20 for four measuring cups - 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, and 1 cup measurements). I had no intention of buying any more as the ones I have seen are all pretty much the same as the ones I've got. When I saw these I got a wild-hair and decided to see if they were what they advertised them to be. Oh, boy! They are exactly as advertised, and I dare say even better! These far exceeded my expectations! They are a solid, one piece construction and they are thick! They are heavy. Each one is engraved with the measurement both in standard U.S. measurements (cups, tsp. etc.) and in ml. I don't usually keep my measuring cups connected, because they are kind of a pain to take apart, however, the ring these are attached with is easy and quick to undo - maybe it's a fluke, but mine are easy to use. Something else that I have found to be an added bonus is the shape of the measuring spoons; they are long and slender and fit into all those spice containers that my others don't . Wahoo! I didn't realize it annoyed me until I used these. And the spoons are an even thicker metal than the cups! It would be pretty hard to bend them. As for measurement sizes - the cups are 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 1 cup; the spoons are 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 3/4 tsp, 1 tsp, and 1 Tbsp. One more added bonus (this will probably come in handy when one of my kids walks off with the measuring cup that I need leaving me to guess the correct measurement with whatever they have left in the drawer) - each of the cups has additional measurements on the inside. For example, the 1 cup also has 1/2 and 3/4 markings, the 2/3 also has 1/2 and 1/3, etc. Seriously, I LOVE these! I am so happy I bought them. :)

I am so happy I purchased this 18 piece set of measuring cups and spoons. The quality is outstanding. All are clearly stamped with U.S. and metric equivalents. Additional marks are on the larger cups for quick usage. The shape of the spoons are fantastic, they easily fit in any spice jar I own. All pieces nest in their respective sets, easy to store. But the thing that attracted my attention to this set was the additional measuring spoon set which includes, drop/smidgen/pinch/dash/tad. What a surprise! I had to laugh because there is an episode of Beverly Hillbillies where Jed explains these bygone measurements. With a smile on my face I added them to my cart. Thank you for that Morgenhaan. These are a beautiful, high quality set that will last generations and any cook or chef would totally love.

We ordered a duplicate set after using a previous set for several years. The original set is still going strong, but we wanted to have duplicates of everything to support our increased level of home baking. These measuring cups and spoons are fabulous. Perfect for individuals who are looking to avoid plastics. They could easily last a lifetime, and then you could pass them on to someone when you die. 🙂

I've been looking for a better set of measuring cups and spoons for over a year. I've had quite a few sets of both in my adult life but always had plastic. This time I wanted stainless steel. Like my plastic pieces everything had to be permanently marked with the size so the amounts would not get washed off. I have to say these are wonderful and surpass my needs. For example, the cup is not only marked as cup but you can use the same cup for 3/4 cup and 1/2 cup because it is also marked that way. You get a separate 3/4 and 1/2 cup but if you are in a hurry, can't find the others, or they are in the dishwasher you still have something else to use for the measurement. Each cup has a solid feel to it. The spoons easily fit into most boxes (ex: baking soda). The sides are short and long. Each spoon also has the size permanently marked on it. Both the cups and spoons come on a ring that is easily removed but it is also made of stainless steel if you want to leave it connected while you wash them in the dishwasher. These would make a wonderful wedding gift or house warming gift. The cups also nestle inside each other if you want to store them that way. It only took me 30 years but I have finally found a set of both measuring cups and spoons that I totally love. I've already been using them in my baking and my recipes have turned out wonderful so I feel they are the correct sizes. I highly recommend and feel the price is well worth it! A++

WOW! My 1/4 cup measure is missing. These M O R E than make up for it! I love that I can use other sizes for a smaller amount--eg. Half cup to measure one third fo example if needed. When I picked up the box it was so heavy I wondered what was inside, they are so heavy! Love it! This is the GIFT to give your mom or friend who loves to bake and cook. When I compared what you get for the money, this is a major bargain! Each piece was in it's own plastic bag. The finish is so smooth it was like handling satin. It will make my weekly bread baking even more a pleasure . How lovely to be able to fill once for two thirds, or three fourths of a cup. It may seem a small thing, but you will love it too. An added thing, they are held together with an old fashioned ball chain. Easy to remove to use, but just as easy to replace to keep together when stored I can either hang them on a hook or stand in a drawer or cupboard Since these are professional quality, these are perfect to verify the accuracy,of other cops and spoon measures you may own. I appreciate the long handles of the spoons for reaching into containers and packages of ingredients. So much easier! And so many choices. Just think how nice to use only one spoon to measure 3/4 of a teaspoon.

Me encanto la calidad con la que se produce estos materiales. Lo que mas me gusto fueron las tazas, ya que incluso viene grabados por dentro las medidas, para que no batalles calculando las porciones. Excelente opción para manejar tu dieta, y para un estilo de vida más saludable. Aparte de que el precio por ambas cosas y aparte la calidad, es realmente valiosa.

Fantastic set, I’ve been using it for several years now and no issues at all. It’s great having every measurement needed.

Me gustaron se ven fuertes el hecho que sean como cuencos en el fondo lo hace mas fácil para limpiar las cucharas el diseño esta raro las preferiría redondas pero lo tomare como un diseño no me agradaron rectangulares pero están bien cumplen con el proposito.

Opening the product, you can immediately smell the metallic odour of cheap steel. *Clearly not stainless steel* Damage to almost every piece in the set. Scuffs, tarnish, scratches. Probably used and repackaged Don’t waste your time of money.
