I was so excited to receive this package. The MacBook was packaged very nicely and snug. There are zero blemishes, flawless. My first instinct was to try and turn the MacBook on, and nothing. So I figured it was 100% dead. I plugged the charger into the wall and into the MacBook. The MacBook sounded like it was waking up but it sounded bad, like it was overheating and making crackling noises and then the noise just stopped. During this short encounter, the MacBook never lit up. There were no signs of life. I was hoping it was just the charger, but the charger seemed to work on other devices. I tried other chargers on the MacBook and still nothing. I also left the original charger plugged into the MacBook overnight and still no signs of life. I am extremely disappointed. I called right away within 24hrs and received a return label. I’m hoping the return goes smoothly with no issues and I get a full refund. Ughhh so disappointed.

Item came faster than expected. It came very well packaged and included a charger. The charger I received wasn't an official Apple branded one, but a third party knockoff. I've had it so far since November and haven't had any issues with the computer. I always recommend doing a full proper clean install of the OS plus fully cleaning my computers if I'm not buying new just to make sure it's properly clean. It came in almost perfect condition besides the gash in the body on one of the corners, but other than that it's almost perfect. It may be a 2019 and only have one more major macOS release which is the version that was just released for this era of machine, but it's still plenty capable for light/moderate tasks. The space gray color is very beautiful and as usual with Apple the machine was easy to set up and use. I'd say if you need a machine for school or for around the house and don't mind the Intel era Macs this is still a pretty good buy. Do know that unless you get a 16 inch 2019 MacBook Pro you're going to be stuck with the Butterfly Keyboard so a cover is a must and don't forget to remove it before you close the machine so you don't damage it.

Its a really good computer, especially tempting at this price (it was at $3200 when released just 3 years ago, I got it for 1200 in excellent cosmetic condition). But it actually performs worse than an 8gb (yes, 8gb of ram) M1 Macbook Air 2020 in almost every task, and you can get a refurbished/used one for a fair deal less (~$700). I'm biased cause i've tried both and preferred the M1 but here are some key points: Reasons to buy this over macbook air m1: • Bigger screen - This was one of my obsessions before buying it, coming from a 13 inch and... Its not that big a difference. Its like a 20% percent increase i think, it doesn't make that much of a difference if what you need is screen real estate. • When doing heavy work like video or batch photo editing, certain heavy formats (like 8k Pro Res or 40MP photos) export faster thanks to the amount of Ram. - I don't edit 8k video, plus waiting a couple extra minutes while it exports wouldn't be relevant to me, especially since the m1 is perfectly usable in the meanwhile. Reasons to buy an M1 over this. • Battery is foolish. Lasts three times as much. • Lighter, more portable. • Faster in general use, even with fairly heavy workloads like photo and video editing. • A fair deal cheaper. • Doesn't turn into a Boeing jet engine when video editing, its silent. I've had people laugh at me in a library.

I searched for a refurbished MacBook for weeks hoping to find one I could trust. I was hesitant because its obviously refurbished and I wasn't sure what condition I would receive it in. When I received it the only visual issues I could see was a small dent on the corner and the apple logo was a bit scratched. All in all, very minimal damage for the price I paid and I have been so so happy. I did have to clean the laptop and charger quite a bit but I would have been willing to do that 10 times over for the deal I got. I was hesitant to trust it but I did go with one of the more "expensive" refurbished MacBooks and it worked out perfectly. The laptop has 0 performance issues and the battery has been working well other than playing certain games but that's to be expected in most laptops. So far no issues with overheating or any other issues. I am glad that I trusted this option more than others because I am now in love with this computer! I didn't get the unwrapping experience others get with buying new but that is a small price to pay for the product I received. All in all, highly recommend if you don't mind skipping the unboxing and don't mind small imperfections. Mine were easily hidden by buying a laptop case.

The thing is a tank. Love it, and I run it hard. So many tabs and using it constantly. Great buy

when I first got this laptop, I noticed that the battery was dying extremely fast. I was able to contact and get a new battery. I got the battery replaced, and when they took out the old battery, it was complete melted. The laptop was always hot all the time initially. I figured it was because it needed a new battery. Well the new battery got replaced and the issue was still there. I never noticed it because I bought this for my fiancé and he never let me know. He just had a little fan that goes under the laptop to try and keep it cool. Well, now I have it and the charger burned my hand that’s how hot it was. I just shut it down. The MacBook is completely hot itself. I know this is refurbished. I bought it July 2024 but this should not be an issue, especially for the amount of money that I paid. I am almost positive that when or if I get somebody to check this battery again it’s probably melted. I just reached out to the seller. Hopefully, I can just return this thing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Worth It! I was a little hesitant to buy a renewed MacBook Pro, but I’m so glad I did. My laptop arrived quickly, packaged securely, and honestly looks and feels brand new. There’s no visible wear, the screen is flawless, and the keyboard is smooth and responsive. Performance-wise, it’s been excellent—fast startup, smooth multitasking, and no glitches so far. The battery life is solid, and all ports and features work perfectly. You’d never know it wasn’t brand new. This purchase saved me a lot compared to buying it new, and I’m getting the same premium Apple experience I wanted. If you’re on the fence about buying renewed, I’d say go for it—you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was!
