Not safe, gas leaks…
Not safe! Don’t buy this… I ended up, not installing it. Testing it the button pushes down gas leaks. Unfortunately I missed my return window so I am out the money. But this thing is unsafe garbage. Do not buy it!

PRODUCT SHOULD BE RECALLED!!!! GAS LEAK!!!!
The lid does not have enough clearance to prevent compressing the dial and releasing gas. This should absolutely be recalled as it poses a significant safety issue. Added these silicone knobs to prevent the lid from touching the dial. no replacing it as we literally had the quartzite custom cut for this. Other reviews remarking on this are absolutely accurate - I wish my husband would have bothered reading them before ordering.

It was not what I was expecting.
The burner is loos and the stainless quality is not good

Unsafe? Defective build? A one-off Lemon?
Third use, this happened. Yes, installed correctly and safely - even soap/water tested every connect point before first use. This happened AFTER the unit was shut off following a 10-minute use. Apparently a gas leak and fire near the knob area that obviously burned my kitchen island as well. So, brand new kitchen island now needs to be repaired on top of replacing granite that cracked in multiple spots from the heat. I’d say avoid this model.

Gas leak
Slow gas leak when knob in closed in position only found out after install. We have even cut the stone to match this burner size. Can’t eve return or replace, Amazon is looking into it. Horrible product. Top already has little rust stains.
