CONS: Expensive; long wait for delivery from Spain; poor manual; confusing website with poor information. REVIEW This is an excellent shopping trolley, in my opinion one of the best I've come across. I used to hate going to the shops because it was a massive struggle for me due to my circumstances, but now things are a lot easier. It's very manoeuvrable, and the large wheels tackle anything, and having the different push/pull modes is a great idea. I went for the largest Carlett shopping trolley, the LETT470, and I'm glad I did, as the extra storage, and the isothermal compartment, have come in very handy. To collapse the trolley there are two hooked levers at the side of the frame (see pictures), which you pull up. You can then fold the trolley for storage purposes. The overall build quality is excellent, it's faultless. The trolley uses a welded aluminium frame, not cheap alloy, which is lightweight and robust. The main bag is made from a very thick waterproof material, and again, is of excellent quality, and it's well stitched together. The Carlett Lett470 trolley is expensive, but it's top quality, and it will last years. I would certainly buy another one again, highly recommended.

Initially I sent this to my neighbour to purchase. As I look after him and do his shopping during the pandemic. After being delivered and used it a number of times, I’m happy it serves it purpose very well. Even for the high price, it justifies the high cost. It is light, easy to manoeuvre, carries large amount and heavy items, has a cooling compartment For frozen foods, easy to fold and unfold. The wheels are large and firm enough, going over ditches, cracks, humps on the street, makes it easily and effortlessly. The design is very clever. It not completely upright like traditional carts. This is tilting back. That helps when packing groceries, the bottom items don’t have the full wait and force above it. The cooling section is nice, helpful but could be better if it comes out more. Certain items like tub of ice cream squeeze in and pushes into the groceries. It’s very robust and sturdy. Nothing feels flimsy. I carried about 9 bottles of 4 pints milk. Not a problem. I liked it so much, ended up buying my mother one to help her with shopping. It helped relieve her from possible back pains.

Great to push around. Not as large capacity wise as my previous trolley. Freezer compartment not as deep as I would like Boxed pizzz etc would fit but nothing bulky like veg chips etc.

Very sturdy trolley, especially pleased with the cool bag and the large capacity for the rest of my shopping. However, I am disappointed the front wheels cannot be clicked into remaining in place. Instead the wheels swing from side to side. This is ok for flat ground but impossible to push straight while on slopes and rough ground. My mobility is unsteady and I was hoping not to use my walking stick while pushing this trolley. I also find this on the heavy side for lifting. Otherwise this is near perfect for all my shopping needs.

Don’t know if it’s just the one I got but the ‘swivel’ wheels stick really badly & make manoeuvring it really difficult. Especially with shopping inside but also when empty. Using this trolley is a chore! Disappointing considering the price.

Does hold a good amount of shopping & handy freezer bag at the front. Folds down well & nearly flat with good handle adjustment at the side. Only one drawback the wheels are not good grip on the tezza marble type floors, ok on buses & some stores but not on others: one wheels it on back wheels tipped up till we get to different flooring. Otherwise love it.

Fab trolley my second carlette, wish it had pockets on the side like my last but overall fab well made and larger capacity {hence the purchase},would recommend this brand, lovely grey colour the price expensive but well worth it, if your looking for a good looking shopping trolley well made and last a long time then go for it you wont be dissapointed.

Be prepared for this trolley to be unmanageable unless using on even ground. It's a nightmare to get along as the front wheels on this model cannot be fixed and swivel wildly from side to side dragging you sideways. It's a good quality large capacity thing, ideal if you are very strong and you're doing a weekly shop for the Barretts of Wimpole Street. The cool bag for frozen goods is handy.

Nachdem mein in die Jahre gekommener alter Trolley ersetzt werden musste, blieb ich am Carlett hängen und habe den Kauf keine Minute bereut! Am einfachsten lässt sich dieser besondere Trolley beschreiben als Hybrid aus herkömmlichem Trolley und einem kleinen Kinderwagen, was nicht verwundert, da der Hersteller auch Kinderwagen herstellt. Somit sitzt im Prinzip die Einkaufstasche auf einem kinderwagenähnlichen Gestell, das sich genauso bedienen und fahren lässt wie ein Kinderwagen. Diese Eigenschaft in Kombination mit einer wirklich großen Tasche mit zusätzlich vorgelagerter Kühltasche erleichtert größere Einkäufe zu Fuß ungemein, da das Gewicht nicht gezogen werden muss, sondern geschoben werden kann. Das schont meine kaputte Schulter und ist wirklich ein Segen! Wer lieber zieht oder den Trolley leer befördert, kann ihn mit einem einfachen Mechanismus (Fuß auf Stange drücken, hebt den Trolley an) zum Zugtrolley machen. Diese Funktion erleichtert auch das Hochziehen über Treppen. Wobei ich sagen muss, dass dies das einzige Manko ist: Hat man den Trolley voll und schwer beladen und hat Treppen zu bewältigen, braucht man durchaus viel Kraft und guten Halt am Geländer, um ihn hoch zu bekommen. Ein Treppensteiger ist er definitiv nicht. Wer aber nur wenige Treppen zu bewältigen hat, wird seine leichte Handhabung, Wendigkeit unterwegs und in Geschäften, die äußerst robuste Verarbeitung von Gestell und Tasche, die leise, softe Fahrweise und nicht zuletzt auch die schöne Optik lieben! Als Tipp für alle Käufer: Ich habe mir den Carlett zusätzlich ausgerüstet mit einem Kinderwagennetz und Kinderwagenhaken, so dass ich ihn an den Einkaufswagen hängen kann. Das geht mit solchen rutschsicheren Haken ausgesprochen gut. Ich muss ihn dadurch nicht zusätzlich manövrieren und kann zusätzlich auf dem Heimweg noch kleine, leicht befüllte Taschen daran befestigen. Für mich ist der Carlett der König der Einkaufstrolleys. Ersatzteile wie Räder und Taschen scheint es leider derzeit nur bei Carlett in Spanien direkt zu kaufen zu geben, was ich etwas bedauerlich finde (bin dankbar über Hinweise, wo man sie ansonsten beziehen kann). Denn ich schätze, dass das Gestell beides vermutlich überleben wird und es wäre schade und Ressourcenverschwendung, es entsorgen zu müssen, weil es in Deutschland keine Ersatzteile gibt. Da könnte klar nachgebessert und vereinfacht werden. Alles in allem: Klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Trolley, der sein Geld absolut wert ist! P.S.: Vorsicht ist geboten für große Personen: Da der Trolley im Mittelmeerraum gefertigt wird, ist er auf eher kleinere Menschen zugeschnitten. Ich messe 174 cm und komme gerade so noch klar mit ganz hoch geklapptem Griff. Angenehmer wäre es aber, wenn er höher wäre.

I’ve bought this cart for my mother after the previous one got wrecked in a car accident. She mentions that is the “Ferrari” of the carts, it has a huge capacity, it is safe and it doesn’t makes her arm or back hurt because it has four wheels and the weight stays balanced in the cart. Also for BBQ and if you have to brought a lot of meat it is very handy due to its freeze bag (we already tested for our national holiday) and even with the meat and also the market purchases for the month, everything could be managed by the cart without any issues. I’m very happy she is happy, so 10/10 would recommend to buy again.

Es, sin duda el mejor carro que he tenido. Tiene los tubos gruesos de sección ovalada, fuertes y resistentes. Las ruedas están muy bien , es muy fácil de manejar, y el saco es alto para no tropezar. Tiene una gran capacidad y el departamento de congelados va desde la parte de abajo hasta la de arriba, con lo que el tamaño es muy grande. El material es altamente resistente muy bien confeccionado y el tejido es muy bonito y lavable. En fin, no tengo mas que palabras buenas. Es cierto que es mas caro que otros, pero, sin duda, merece la pena. Encima tiene un cierre en forma de saco para que no se dalgan los alimentos en la parte superior y el cierre de la tapa va con un broche que en otros carros es simplemente de velcro o no tiene. Lo recomiendo 100%. Se abre y pliega muy fácil y no ocupa demasiado espacio

J’ai emménagé en centre ville, et pas n’importe laquelle, une ville des plus pavés au monde, Une horreur pour les chariots bas de gamme... Les roulettes de ce chariot ci roulent bien, sont solides et avec bruit réduit, Un véritable confort! Il se roule comme un caddie de super marché sur quatre roues, Avec une mécanique très souple des roues avants (donc diriger le bien!), ou sur deux roues en un mouvement de clics, J’ai pour habitude d’acheter beaucoup de courses et mes anciens chariots a deux roulettes ne tenaient plus aux bouts de quelques utilisations et les douleurs musculaires aux bras malgré ma petite trentaine, devenaient de plus en plus pénible, Avec la contenance de ce chariots grande capacité, je peux mettre facilement deux packs d’eau, ou pas mal de courses, En gros ce chariot, sera utile pour ceux qui ont du trajet jusqu’au point de vente, qui veulent éviter des douleurs au dos et aux bras, et qui ont besoin d’une bonne contenance Je rajouterais qu’à vide il n’est pas trop lourd, pour des matériaux de bonnes qualités et en plus... il est plutôt beau
