My wife has loved this so far. While birds don't come out at night so much the night vision is helpful in the morning when it is still not fully light out and she is trying to see the "early bird"

The instructions included in this suck. Had to play around the buttons just to figure out how to get nightmare turned on. by the way its the left button furthest from you. press and hold it a few seconds. otherwise great gift for any hunter or spy

It is bit heavy and awkward to use and the picture quality could be better.

Ended up dropping some money on this when it was about 50% off! thought how can you go wrong. Well let me tell you, if you are looking to see things at night, dont bother. It needs a significant amount of light. Dusk pre-dawn, you might see some things with this that you otherwise wouldnt, but even with a full moon or a nearby light source, middle of the night this thing is useless. also the input is the small circles and the big rectangle is the viewing screen. Putting that screen against your forehead to view is uncomfortable immediately. I am glad that the item is working, but honestly. I have not used it for 2 hrs total. Just not worth my time.

I bought these night vision binoculars for my wife for Christmas (to be honest, I bought it directly from Rexing, but I could not find a way to review it on their website so I am reviewing them here on Amazon). She had actually just bought a Sightmark Wraith HD Night Vision Rifle Scope, which I assumed would have a better night vision range and better picture quality...and I was wrong. These things are great, especially considering the price. The range is considerably better than the Sightmark scope, I would say almost 2x the range. The illuminator built into these is very strong and it works very well. I have used Rexing dashcams for years and I have found that they work great although some features are a little sketchy, but on these binoculars the features are very solid and the build quality is also very good. It feels very solid in the hand and it is fairly intuitive to use. The only two complaints that I have are: 1. The video records in .avi format. Is that even a thing anymore? Some variant of MPEG would make so much more sense. 2. It takes a lot of batteries, 6 AA to be exact. We do not have a read on battery life yet, because it is still on the first set, but so far it seems fairly good. The image quality is very good when not zoomed in. As expected, when you zoom at night, the quality goes way down and things pixelate. This did not surprise me at all. Quality during the day is decent. Picture and video taking day or night (especially at night) is dependent on you being steady. A tripod is recommended for night video. I am really overjoyed with these. I thought they would be overshadowed by the Sightmark that cost 4x the amount, but it has absolutely been the opposite. I would buy these again and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality, inexpensive night vision solution. The video above is at about 30 yards in pitch black, with some zoom mounted on a tripod. The 12/30/2023 05:51:38 photo is a buck on full zoom, at a range of about 200 yards.

I've had this for a few yrs now and I think for it's great. Once you get used to your finger positions on the controls to get used to the functions it's very useful. You can use them as binoculars during the day( I don't unless to document something) have binoculars for that ( no batteries). But when posting early during hunting looking for activity or at night at home when you suspect activity or even surveying your pets at night especially when one is black. I find I've grown to rely on it. Would very much recommend.

Unpacking was easy, well packaged quite well made too, just remember this is NOT military grade and NOT intended as goggles for stealth combat type stuff. However, I am quite literally blown away at its functionality, once you familiarise yourself with the menu's and location of buttons the night vision binoculars are literally astounding. Having used nv's with the military (3k upwards), I expected this to be nothing more than a toy.....I was pleasantly wrong. As long as you remember there is a dim light on the subject-target side, (see pictures which massively exaggerate the brightness) you will find these very surprising to approximately 200- 225 metres, for security, wildlife, hunting, and general night-time curiosity. The ability to take clear photographs and video footage in daytime and night-time is excellent. Not suitable for airsoft and other fast paced sports due to the narrow field of vision and magnification. Glasses do not lend themselves for a close fit to eliminate lighting you up, but not really an issue for their intended purpose. Playback through the binoculars is easy, and transference via card and cable works well. Contrary to some reviews, a good quality memory card up to 64gb works fine. Videos are limited to 180 minutes in best quality mode, but let's be honest that is easily enough. Photographs at best quality only count up to 9999 (yes 9999). I am using 6 2800mah lithium rechargeable batteries and after 2 nights (7 hours) use they needed recharging. My eyes could not cope with any more. Overall really well designed, and well worth the money, but before you pick holes in them remembervthe price and remember the intended use. If you want to go hunting with a rifle mounted nv scope, spend between £1500 and £2500. Or goggles 3k and above. In my opinion these work amazingly well for the money, well done Rexing!

In a street setting illumination is good without night vision. In total darkness is great even when only on a low setting. Very easy to use but doesn't come with a memory card so you will have to purchase one separately, which isn't a problem for me as I only use it for general observation.

Bought as a Christmas present for my partner who is absolutely over the moon with it. He says they are easy to operate and is thrilled as the option to capture video and still photos, the quality of which seems pretty darn good. The night vision is exceptionally clear picking up amazing detail, obviously this does pixilate slightly when you use the zoom to fullest but I think that is understandable and to be expected. Overall this is a winner item, and I have earned no end of brownie points for giving this gift. Excellent value for money and recommended.
