Excellent flavor! Thai birdseye peppers are not the hottest peppers in the world (if you were expecting Habanero levels, this is not for you), but they have a delightful flavor compared to the normal red pepper flakes you get at the supermarket. Perfect for conveniently adding both heat and a bit of flavor to drunken noodles, stir fries, etc. Will buy again! These flakes seem equal in flavor and heat to the fresh birdseye peppers you can get at the asian market in my area in cooking, and are much more convenient and cheaper amount of pepper.

OMG! If you like to add a little tasty heat to your food dishes this is an awesome choice. I find that it is quite easy to gauge how much you want, has a really good flavor, and it isn't insanely hot which allows you to add quite a bit. Although, I may be a bit more used to it.

Hotter than anyone (I mean pepper flakes) you can pick up at the supermarket. Always consistent, so far.

I’ve gone through 7 bags of these chili flakes over the last couple years now and they’re pretty decent. My only complaint is they are hit or miss in terms of spice level. I’ve gotten batches in the past that were truly spicy like I wanted, but more recent batches have been really lacking. Not sure what is going on with their quality control. I just ordered my 8th bag, but unless it’s spicy like it used to be, it might be my last.

Great flavor, but not fire hot. I could use something warmer. Economical way to buy and use, just put them in your empty shaker jar from another brand.

Extra hot?? I grow 6-7 different kinds of hot peppers every year. I bought this to hold me over till this years crop comes in. What a waste of money. They have no heat and no flavor!!

These peppers a have nice, flavorful heat level. I use this with my jerk chicken wings and chicken stir fry and curry dishes. I have reordered this several time and consider this package to be a bargain.

Extra hot as the description includes is not correct. There is a good flavor and a dight more heat than you get from good old crushed red pepper. Really fast shipping though!
