Very well thought out bag
Very well thought out little bag. Love the small design details: Parking pockets for the 2 main zippers in closed positions to prevent rattling, middle compartment sized for large modern cellphones, headphone cord holder sewn into the fabric handle, straps that fit all shoulder sizes etc. In fact, the functional details of the bag feels like it was put together by very imaginative engineers. Right down to staid looking aesthetics of the bag. I like the stealthy looks but may be boring for the more outgoing types.

Pretty good, but no cigar
I started using a Victorinox flex backpack a few years ago, first as a travel bag, then for everyday. I loved the original model, which could be used as a backpack, purse, side pack, or under-the-arm pack. The catches could be used straight, or crisscrossed. The zippers of all 3 compartments met in the top middle, allowing you to to reach items in the bag much more easily than with this model. There was also a hidden compartment on the back.The current model can only be worn as a backpack--the catches don't crisscross anymore. All closures simply zip to the bottom of one side, which makes it more difficult to reach things in the bag. No doubt this change was made because, after a few years of use, the zippers sometimes open spontaneously--and I have occasionally lost things. (Fortunately, the finders were all honest folks.) This "zipper fatigue" would tell me it was time to buy a new bag.The current model is an okay travel bag, capacious, but not as usable and flexible as the 2006 model, which I wish Victorinox would bring back. It'd be nice if they added a clip to lock the middle-meeting zippers.

Not as good as it predecessor
I have seen the older version of this pack and it has more practical spaces and better zippers. This is a cheap knock-out and not the quality of Swiss like it older version. Too bad...the older version was a "perfect" size and very practical.
