Very happy with this antenna
Works well. It was shipped to me from a dealer missing two radials. I contacted Diamond and they sent me the two radials within a few day. I have ALWAYS been impressed by Diamond Antennas and their service. This is a great go-to antenna for almost any rig/band. The antennal is very well designed with good quality materials.. Now I wish they would make a 20' version of this antenna.

First antenna
I'm just dipping my feet into HAM radio. This is the perfect antenna because of the wide range of frequencies I can receive. It's incredible how many stations I can get now down here in the bowl. Right now It's just in the yard. I can't wait until I mount it on the house. Very easy to put together.

My main antenna
This is my main >50 MHz antenna, installed on top of a hex beam, and it works very well. Good quality product.

Great all around receiving antenna.
Paired this with a couple of SDR's. Receives hf very well. I also listen on a few local trunked systems. Good for any type of recieving.

Just got it not sure yet
I just got it today, be fore warned, it has a UHF-N connector, not an so239. But you can get adapters or you can get cable that has those connectors on it and use the adapter on the other end if necessary. Also, it was not easy to assemble. It took about an hour and a half and I had to hang it from the ceiling to finish the assembly. The ground planes, that stick down at about a 30° angle are just Hollow stainless steel tubes filled with foam, I'm not sure how long they will last. The antenna connector is right below the center of the antenna where everything comes together, and then your antenna wire goes down the steel tube in the middle which is about 2 ft long. The tube is large enough for some large antenna cable, and an adapter inside, and flexible cable cover. No problem there. I'll add more information after I put it up and test it.

Excellent Scanner Antenna!
I had a Discone antenna from a different company in the past and it fell apart, due to poor craftsmanship. This antenna out of the package was much better built and went together a lot nicer. Also, just to note, If you're a amateur radio operator, this will also transmit on 6M, 2M, 70CM, 33CM, and 23CM.

Digital Modes
Use this for your local VHF:UHF digital station. These are also well know for huge wide-band receive for you SWL folks. But for local tropospheric digi the only step up from this is a yagi.
