Split King Size SureGuard Box Spring Encasement Pack - 100% Waterproof, Bed Bug Proof, Hypoallergenic - Premium Zippered Six-Sided Covers

I will be posting a very similar review for all of the encasements I just bought, from 2 different companies. 1) I was more than a little worried about what I would be getting. I read a ton of reviews on a ton of these, and the 1-stars were really scary. 2) I was more than pleasantly surprised. These were EASY to use. Other reviewers definitely helped there! 3) The material is excellent. NO plastic smell or sound whatsoever. My review: I bought 2 box spring encasements (one from SureGuard), and one mattress encasement (from SureGuard) and 2 sets of pillow protectors, one from SureGuard. I padded the frame slats with strips of heavy old towel taped with a 2-sided poster-hanger material. Then I used a heavy staple-gun to staple same towel to the corners of the box spring. The bottom wood of the box spring can be stapled into, but NOT on a side or bottom surface, by pushing the stapler into the fabric, and angling it down into the wood. That avoided stables that could rub a hole through the encasements. Then I stood the box spring on end, and slipped the encasement over it CAREFULLY. I rotated it end for end, so I could carefully zip the encasement. Then, leaving that end up still, I slipped my other encasement over it, and repeated the flip and zip. I was careful in sliding the first one over so as to not dislodge my towel padding. Both fit the box spring perfectly. I did the exact same thing for the mattress. It, too, fit perfectly. Lastly, I did the SureGuard pillow protectors. They looked a bit odd, like they were going to smell and feel like plastic, but nope! Worked perfectly! The zipper on one was buggy. I wound up turning the protector inside-out to start it, then flipping it back rightside in and inserting the pillow. All's well that ends well! I then put different "fully cloth" pillow protectors over those, for a pure cotton base. NONE of these encasements or protectors smelled bad. One had a FAINT smell to it, but I had to, quite literally, push my nose into it. But once on, no smell at all. None, much to my relief, because I get massive headaches from chemical smells like dryer cloth, soaps, plastic chairs, etc. They all fit snug, zipped perfectly, and look REALLY nice on the box spring and mattress!

This is the second set i have purchased. I bought them again because of how durable they are. I was very impressed with how well made they seem to be and how thick the encassements are. They are very easy for one person to put on, though the instructions recomend that u have 2 people. I have a queen size bed and the encassements were a breeze to put on. Little big for the first set. After a few weeks I had noticed those little critters came out from the mattress and was trying to get out (but couldn't)I thought I would go ahead and get another set. Just to be on the safe side. I ordered the second set the same size as the first set and the second set fit like a glove. Perfect fit.Little more tricky to put on with only one person, but if thats all u have , u can manage quite easly. I'm serious when i say they r very durable. These encassements can take a licking. Don't get me wrong, u still have t b careful and not rip or tear it. I was pritty SURE b4 but now I'm extra SURE that my mattress are well protected from any more in or out! I didnt feel comfortable keeping my mattress at all b4these encassements but now that I have 2 on each on them, I feel like I can wait till i have the money for a new mattress. WHEN I DO GET ANOTHER MATTRESS, i will have SURE GUARD encassements on it. I highly recomend them. I will b re reviewing again. Stay tuned

Excellent product. Was easy to install, quality fabric and sized perfect.

It may not be the cheapest encasement option, but SureGuard is very quiet and soft. No zipper issues. It fit my king mattress perfectly. I would definitely recommend.

This has been a "game changer" as regarding enjoying a restful sleep without fearing an attack, under cover of darkness, unerringly guided by CO2 and body heat, It is the bed bug equivalent of crossing Mercury, the Sun facing side!

So far I absolutely love this product. I am picky when it comes to things I buy and especially situations like this where I need something like this I only want the best. The material is soft and thick. It is also not just breathable but slightly elastic so it has some wiggle room. This is especially handy when it comes to putting it on. That comes to my ONLY problem. People if your like me short or just supper small it’s going to be awkward to get it on your self. A mattress or/box spring that is taller then you by a good few feet is going to be a challenge. However the part you start at one end is just like a pillowcase, just slid it around and in. So over all, if you are looking to buy a protector cover for your bed I definitely recommend this. I also have invested in one for my mattress and in the future I am definitely getting some for my pillows. Thank you to who ever came up with this! A protective cover that is just like a bedsheet and on top of it durable and don’t need to worry on rips, tears, or even little spots that if you are an unfortunate victim, can lead to havoc. So really thank you!

I have twin boys that just turned three. One drinks a lot and therefore wakes up in a wet bed even with a nighttime diaper and a pull up on. Our old mattress pad that fit like a sheet did little to nothing to protect the mattress. After he ruined his crib mattress we bought them twin beds and a foam/gel topped mattress and they are thick. These zippered fully enclosed mattress covers have preformed great. Last night he said he was wet and we did a complete bed change and the mattress was dry!!! They wash easy I do recommend two people to put them on the mattress but can be done by one. If you want to ensure your mattress then these are great. I have them on my special needs adult sons full size mattress as well and they have held up with him as well and he is 34.
