Works great!
Just awesome. My water comes out with 0 dKH and 8.2 PH and I inject CO2. With such soft water, my PH would likely be very unstable and crash once my CO2 kicks in. I use this in conjunction with Alkaline Buffer with every water change to lower the PH to 7-7.2 and raise my KH up to 6 to 8. I recommend these over other products because these are not phosphate based. That is especially important if you have a planted tank with lots of light because otherwise you'll trigger an algae bloom very quickly. Given that you only need up to half a tablespoon at most to treat a standard 3-5 gallon bucket when changing water, one of these 600 gram containers will last you several months to a year depending on how big your aquarium is and how often you change your water. It's definitely worth the purchase if you have tricky water like mine.

Works well. Takes a week or more to arrive
Lid was cracked and powdered acid spilled. Other than that it works. 47 rules!!

Works
Very functional acid buffer. I was struggling to get my Santa Barbara basic tap water to neutral with PH up products, but with this acid buffer, I just drop in a few granules per gallon, and the ph promptly drops from almost 8 to the high 6, low 7s. I use this buffer to prepare my aquarium water for a 50 gallon tank, and a 15 gallon tank, and I have had 0 fish losses in over 3 months of using the product.

Works, but not really sure the purpose of it
Drops my KH down in my water but doesn't really change the PH. I mix it with alkaline buffer but the chart on the back doesn't really seem to hold true.

Instant Results
This stuff is amazing! I use their other products and I decided to start making Betta water instead of going to my specialty pet store. Knowing my fish water was safe made me feel good, but I decided it was time to save money and make my own. They let me know what I needed. My tap water has a pH of 8.6 and I need a 7.6 or less. So I bought this and added 1/16 or so to my 5 gallons of water I was treating. It worked instantly and brought it down to 7.4. I could not be happier!

Works but use with caution
The product does what it’s meant to do. Lower and/or remove KH. I keep a high end planted shrimp tank so low KH is important. A note of caution. Do not let the bits fall on your plants. It will burn them. Completely dissolve the salt in a glass not plastic cup as it does have some reaction. My plastic cup was clear and has since been cloudy white even after washing it with soap. I can’t dock the product stars since it technically works, but wish I knew some of these things before hand.
