Engaging Sound

We bought this tower speaker to fill up an empty corner in our living room. We tried to look for something within our budget, and this Venloic tower speaker was a great deal at the time. It did exceed our expectations. The package is typical of a large electronics. The package includes the tower speaker, the wooden base, a remote, and user manual. The first thing that caught my attention is the wood finish. It is very nicely done. I prefer wood for speaker cases because it provides better acoustics than plastic. One thing I didn’t like is that I have to do a little assembly to screw the base to the speaker, but that is just very minor. Setup and operation is very easy, I didn’t even have to read the manual. My iPhone and iPad connected easily via Bluetooth. The first songs that I played sounded a little muddy, and my wife noticed it too. Having a lot of experience with speakers, I know this is normal on first use. The speakers needed a little burning in. There are a lot of burn in sounds/music in in the web, and I have played it continuously for a couple of hours. After the burn in, the audio has more clarity and sounded smoother. I am satisfied with the outcome. Although you couldn’t expect much bass from such small speakers, it did deliver a good punch at higher volume levels. The audio on these speakers are very well balanced, which means if you are looking for a certain sound signature, you need to use an equalizer, some music apps have equalizers, or you may download third party apps for this purpose. In terms of loudness, it is loud enough to fill a relatively big room or living room. I advise to have this speaker placed on a corner as the corner provides a good directional wave to provide a fuller sound. I also tried connecting this to our TV, and it does sound good for movies, but the OCD in me felt it is unbalanced without another tower speaker on the other side of the TV. If you want to use this for your TV, I suggest you find a way to have 2 of these on each side for aesthetics. Overall, I am impressed on what this tower can deliver. Just make sure you give it some time to burn in to get the best audio out of this. If you are looking for a tower speaker, this is a good option.

Gotta say this is a pretty awesome little speaker. If you were going to get one to fill a large room this would work great. Definitely enough for a whole apartment. However the bass is just decent. If you wanted something that booms I'd get a 301 or something. For our purposes it's amazing. Loud, clear with no static. But like I said if you want the windows to shake for a house party you're going to want to get one of the large standing speakers. Only minor complaint was that the holes in the base didn't line up perfectly but I just screwed in the other two slightly askew but the sound quality was unaffected.

After someone taking my good bluetooth speaker, I needed another one to get me through 'Rona 2020 working from home. I had this baby hooked up within five minutes, seriously. SO EASY! The sound is not what I would like (not much bass), but for $94, I am definitely not going to complain.

I'm kind of embarrassed to even have bought this but the top reviews convinced me it was a good speaker. Upon opening it, I realized I was not the first receiver of this speaker, maybe even the 2nd or 3rd person to have got this. Not a good sign. Their fancy photoshop blue swirls on the product images won't save this thing. I think they hope people will buy this and forget to return it because it sucks so much. My only conclusion is that the top reviewers here upgraded from AM radio to FM and this is their first speaker hearing FM music on. There is no bass, there is no highs, only sound that is muffled and mid-tone like it's being played from a cardboard box and all for the price of just under $100. This thing should cost $20 or less. The speaker is very unstable, my neighbor jumping up and down might tip this thing over. There is no bottom weight and the top is where all the "smarts", if you want to call that, are located, so it's very top heavy. The remote only works when you're directly in front of it. If you step to the side even 10 degrees, the remote will not work. The remote feels like one of those cheap RGB LED rope light things. Wouldn't expect it to last long, but I won't be able to attest for that, because I'm returning this thing. Don't buy this. If you want a great speaker for the same amount of money, look up Edifier speakers here on Amazon.

I'm sorry but I am an audiophile and normally an audiophile doesn't buy off brand third party products but I have not been able to find a branded tower speaker that is also bluetooth based. There are bluetooth based small speakers from Bose, JBL, Sonos etc and tower speakers (from Polk Audio for example) but they are wired and not bluetooth so that is why I gave this product a try. Unfortunately the sound quality is truly disappointing. The mids and highs and even the bass is all disappointing. It sounds very boxy and the mids and highs especially sound muffled and not sharp. All those other reviewers that say the sound quality is good must have very low standards. The bottom line is that the sound quality is terrible even for the price and for that reason I'm out!

I purchased a turntable for my birthday but the connection with the tv speakers wasn’t working too well so I decided to buy a new Bluetooth speaker just for the it. I am not good with electronics and I was worrying about setting it up and make it work. I definitely LOVE this simple easy to use speaker! The all set up process was easy and fast, and I was even able to get my phone connected without reading the manual (which is really a big achievement for me lol). The sound quality is very good and the radio pick up lot of stations easily. I am happy with the purchase and I recommend this tower speakers to anyone looking for good quality sounds without spending a fortune.
