Drumsticks (5ABRL)

Well-weighted and matched sticks. I bought 5As and they are pretty much what I expected. I've used this set for about two months and they holding up very well. The red grip looks great and feels very solid.

I'm using these for Rock Band so I cannot guaranty how it will fair on real drums; but since these were made for real drums, and Vic firth is a reputable company I would think they will do well. I have had these for about half a year. Anyway, for Rockband/GH drums, these are a big longer than the stock ones, so you might have to adjust your grips or heights of drum set. I pick these for RB due to the recommendation of an expert RB player, which I forgot the name and his website. But the soft grip is nice for longer game and they also look nicer than the bland wood ones. The plastic tips give you extra bounce, and less noises when drumming. Overall, good and solid sticks.

I have not bought anything but the Vic Firth drum sticks for year now. They come in a nice variety and are well made and well-balanced ! My go-to sticks !

I love Vic Firth sticks. If you know anything about how they're made, you know that they are basically honed from the same piece of word and pitch matched. With these sticks, what you see is what you get! Always good sticks from an enduring quality name in the industry. I specifically like the nylon tips on the 5AN because it keeps the tip from splitting during playing, which then renders other sticks useless after. These dip sticks have that extra grip you need at the end of the night after playing and sweating for hours!

Great sticks so far. Way lighter than the SD1 that my son is used to playing with. He is liking the grip so far. My only negative, the plastic bag the stick arrived in had a glue strip that was stuck to the rubber grip on the stick, and it took so work getting it off without ruining the rubber. Was irritated by that.

Well balanced, nice feel on the grip, comfortable. The only thing I don’t like is when the grip wears off I have to throw away the sticks before the tips are barely worn. The hole in the grip rubs my hand like a blister.

Bought these for my son to try to solve the "flying sticks" issue. He really likes the grips, and the nylon tips are a plus b/c he is hard on his sticks. The only thing he says is that the grip is starting to peel on one of the sticks, but he would buy these again. He said they have really helped him hold on to the sticks, and he has had less trouble with his sticks flying across the room. They are worth the purchase.

So far out of all the Vic drum sticks I’ve purchased on Amazon these by far are my fav. Grip is nice they are well balanced and they feel light but hit loud. I definitely will be ordering more of these. Other colours would be nice but still.

I like the square tips(wood barrel) on this drumsticks.
