FANTASTIC SOLUTION AND BULB DESIGN...!
The people who have given these bulbs poor review because they say they burn out as soon as they're put in are probably putting them into light sockets on a 120 Volt circuit. These can't be used in regular lights on a 120 volt circuit. They are only 12 watts and are intended for low voltage applications. HOWEVER, they CAN be used in regular lights designed for a 120 volt circuit if they are wired to a transformer. See our story below. We bought beautiful 120 volt capable lanterns for our deck and connected them to a low voltage transformer using low voltage landscaping wire. We bought these 60 watt equivalent 12 Watt bulbs to use in these lanterns and they look absolutely beautiful while only using 12 watts of electricity. Really brighten up our deck at night. They are so bright they interfere with the Dawn to Dusk setting on our security camera....! So we changed the security camera setting to be on a time-based schedule instead. This is exactly what we were hoping for. I even ordered extra to have them on hand in the future since this is a tricky combination: 12 watt bulbs with a 60 watt equivalent light output. We're very pleased....!

So glad to find these bulbs!
I was so happy with this purchase. 12 volt clear light bulbs aren't something you can just stroll down to the hardware store and pick up. And I didn't want to pay the crazy prices at a camper store. We needed replacement bulbs for our camper and were going on a trip in two days. I found these and they could be shipped overnight. they worked great and were the correct color and brightness - as advertised. Great buy!

Fits our need
We try to buy from the Ma and Pa places on here. Being disabled . We need to be price conscious. At "The Mother In Laws Place" It is an off-grid cabin, we run DC lighting . We see no need to use the inverter 24/7. just so you can turn on a light when you come home . We use LED bulbs in ceiling mount fixtures that are marked 12-volt DC only. These are controlled by controller with a FOB remote. The controller is board mounted on our PV control center . We use a few of the controllers for different rooms to control each ceiling light . These are fused in our DC only fuse center . This fuse center is controlled by a service disconnect at the DC master box . We also run two AC fuse boxes on our PV board . One protects various AC 110 volt circuits in the cabin , garage and sauna . The other protects 220 volt circuits from the aux gen set and to the split ac/heat pump and the aux battery charger for when the PV and hopefully soon to be wind generated power are not enough to keep up. We run 8 - 6volt Rolls batteries tied by Buss bars . They are temperature and voltage monitored on the PV board and by the inverter unit. The power is inverted by a Renogy 3000 . It also has a multi stage charger built it with flow through capability . These are almost all protected by Breakers purchased here . This is a semi detailed , general description of some of the off grid power system we use . I am going to add this review to each one of the parts bought on here .

Need 10 stars
I've been an electrician for many years and watched as the 12 volt range led light bulbs developed. This bulb is by far better in style, quality and materials than any I've purchased previously. The bulbs are glass instead of the traditional plastic. I used them to make emergency lights for power outages by placing a 20 volt power tool lithium battery in a plastic container and mounting a ceramic fixture on top and they look and work perfectlu with about 13 hours of bright light.

They burn out faster than expected
Nice and bright. Low energy consumption. Don't last as long as I would expect

Great bright bulbs for 12 volts
This is my second time buying these, I use them in my chicken coop and two of these lights does a great job lighting up a 12x12 coop! Their on from sunset to 10 pm as a rule and they worked for 5 years without any issues till just recently when they burned out. Don’t think I can complain too much, they did the job a good long time! Obviously I will be buying more in the future! Highly recommend them

Perfect for Vintage Camper RV Lighting
The 1958 camper was wired with shore power, but I hooked them up to a 12v system, and put in these 12v blubs. Now I have perfect original antique lights in my antique camper, and not those cheap cheezey plastic things in modern campers. Can't say how long they will last, but they burn practically zero battery power from my deep cycle, and they work too when plugged in to 120 shore power. If you are revamping an antique camper you need these bulbs.
