Excellent food
Been using this food for 2 years now. My dog is now 14 and doing well. Amazon canceled my last order because they couldn't get a hold of my vet. I buy them elsewhere now, but it is an excellent product.

my pup eating the food which is a breakthough. Prescription only for Renal diets. Pricey but may save on Vet bills later on.

My dog's symptoms vanished when I started her on the Hills Science k/d diet
This canine fare is not cheap, but my 14-year-old min pin, recently diagnosed with kidney disease (which, in dogs, is already advanced, typically, at time of diagnosis) ceased and deceased having accidents all over our new house after being on it for a week, and she's been in control of her bodily functions ever since. There's no price on that, for her health, her dignity, everyone's peace of mind, and the sustainability of various new furniture, sheets and mattresses, etc...around our home. The condition, by definition, is degenerative. It can not be reversed, but symptoms can be managed, and diet is the key, I've learned. I'm so grateful for the Hills Science Diet!

I got inordinately excited when the shipments started arriving with poptop cans.
It took my old miniature poodle well over a month and several variations of the k/d before he would clean his bowl without his previous kibble mixed in, but I could see results (he stopped ravenous drinking of water) well before that. We have settled into a routine of 1 can (split between morning and evening) plus a small amount of the k/d kibble per day to meet his requirements.
