Okay...
So I bought this because I liked their Crashing the GRE prep book. This book is different, and that is to be expected. It breaks down the various types of questions and does a decent job of showing you what to look for. But... There's a reason it's 50% less than most other LSAT prep books. In my opinion it is very basic and it will only give you some basic strategies to get an "okay" score. If you are looking for something above 160 this isn't for you. I started with a 150 before studying, after studying with it for about a week I ended up missing almost an entire section worth of questions due to time (scoring a 146). Needless to say, I stopped working with the book and moved to the PowerScore Bibles. If your going to spend the money do it right. I'm only 15 pages into the Arguments Bible and it's already contradicted the Princeton Review book (with a list of reasons why). A perk is the free practice tests which I will try to use - but that's about it.Bottom line: if you are crashing the LSAT and just want something to get your feet wet - it might work. But if you are trying to beat the LSAT look elsewhere.

Skip it and go with The LSAT Trainer
This book is just an okay book. After taking my first raw practice test, I used this book to casually study from for a few weeks then took my second practice test which went up 7 points from the first. So yes, some improvement was made, but I think much of that improvement came just from reviewing my first test and understanding why I got certain answers wrong. The logic games are what I struggle with the most, and this book only confused me more. I'm working with the LSAT Trainer now, which is MUCH better written and more comprehensive. It's $20 bucks more, but so worth the tiny added expense. Skip this book.

Kaplan is better
This is a cheaper book for a reason. The internet practice tests are so much better (this book come with 2 paper and 1 computer) and the Kaplan method is easier to understand and retain (multiple computer tests). There are also more tests included with the Kaplan version. This book is OK if you want the basics for a good price. The basic information in this book is very similar to the Kaplan version but having the explanations for the questions you get wrong (especially the computer tests) is where I learned the most.

Review of the Princeton Review Cracking the LSAT 2014
I firmly believe that the authors of this prep test book have not made any significant changes to the reading comprehension section of this test; rather they have literally published the same information year-after-year. Furthermore, this prep test book is too wordy, imprecise, and they constantly drift away from the subject matter. Moreover, the authors of this prep test book adhere to using words and phrases the average person needs a dictionary and thesaurus to understand. Hence, their imprecise approach reduces the intensity and effectiveness of their writing.Basil R. Loucas

Buy This if You Want to get a 140.
Used this before I Bought the PowerScore Bibles. The Bibles contradict this book for numerous reasons which they explain. There is too much generalization in this book, and some times I don't think it went into detail enough. Actually I know it didn't.Using this book, you'll study but your score probably won't change.

Great Practice!
This book is an excellent resource and let's you know exactly what to expect for the actual test. Practice often and take the time constraint into consideration. I wish I had purchased an additional logic games book, but this book has plenty of examples if you can get it the first time. Good luck!

Pretty Good
Helpful and goes through each question in a detailed manner. However, I don't feel like their reasoning or examples are always clear.
