This is a great item!! Instead if using a coupler and making 2 braze points this only has 1 braze point. Anyone that has to braze or sweat copper will understand the less places you have to braze or sweat the better odds you have to not get a leak! Very easy to use and seems to be durable. It has lasted almost 2 years now and still functions great!! The sizes fit perfectly for what you need!

I purchased this for my husband and he loves it! Very comparable to the really really expensive one and actually, my husband says he prefers this one due to the fact that it’s not angled. If you’re looking for a swaging tool, but don’t want to spend $900, this one is perfect!

Great product for the price and durability for the product. Now that I know I would get the hand gripper instead of straight. Makes a huge difference of getting into areas and on the hands.

These work very well. I am an apartment maintenance supervisor and I install and replace a lot of ac's. I have used this a few times already and they work perfectly. Know what copper you're using and it will work as expected. I have not had one line split. As good as the $400+ versions.

Some previous reviews commented that this tool split the copper. They are correct to a point. If the copper isnt soft or hasnt been annealed before hand then yes it will split. I tested it out on a few old rolls I had in my shop. Split every time. That being said, these rolls where sitting in my garage for anywheres from 3 to 10 years. Its a known fact that soft rolls of copper will harden over time if left unused. Especially if the rolls have been left to the heat and cold of seasonal changes. I took another old tube and annealed it before swaging. Perfect job! In conclusion, don’t blame the tool for cracking a tube. Know your copper. If its been sitting around for a time or you feel that the coil is a bit stiffer than you remember then assume its hardened and anneal it before swaging. All in all a great tool to hav in your shop or truck.

Honestly, I have no complaints whatsoever. This thing works beautifully, simply, and well. It's one of those things where I wouldn't have bought if not for Amazon's generous return policy because I wasn't sure how well it might've worked. But I'm glad I did, because it did everything I needed it to flawlessly.
