Large opening, my cats love to sit and look outside and its not loud when used

Even our dogs uses it! And usually the dogs paws catch on the locks and the poor cat can’t get in our out, 😂 All good if it is not chucking it down outside! Luckily the cat is too clever and well trained and does not pee unless outside! Better than having litter in the house!

Good instruction for fitting

Super cat flap. No problems with it. Good size and seems sturdy enough.

Would be 5 stars, but the mechanism to lock/unlock the door is far too fiddly. I find I have to move the door and catches from both inside and outside to be sure the lock is working as wanted. Also, the instructions on the box for fitting are not very clear about which is "front" and which is "rear" (especially as Amazon had partially covered some with stickers). Otherwise, it's a great catflap for my large beast!

Perfect for small dog

My 9.6kg cat (moggy mix Maine coon) can’t fit in a conventional cat flap. This is great for him but he needs to learn to use it! I will upgrade to a microchip cat flap in future but this is a temporary solution in a door that’s going to be replaced and will do the job very well. There are gaps that will need sealing for winter but happy enough with the quality of the contraption itself. Will update if any issues

The good: All of our three cats can easily get through this cat flap. The bad: The lock is on the bottom. All one has to do to lock it is to push the button sideways, which is extremely easy to do. We had this cat flap installed for about a week when we first noticed that it was suddenly locked. We unlocked, thinking it was one of our toddlers. Then last night (not even a week later), our cats were going crazy for some reason in the middle of the night. In the morning, poo everywhere. Turns out, the cats managed to slide the lock sideways and lock themselves into the house. They were desperate to do their business and couldn't, so ended up pooing at different places all over the house. We have now stuck the slide down with solid tape to keep this from happening again. We always had a different make of cat flap installed in the past. Much more expensive, but we never had any problems with it. But the other make is not available anymore in the size we need, so we settled on this one. I cannot in good conscience recommend this cat flap to anyone. How it managed to become a bestseller I don't know. Don't buy if you value your floor and your cats.
