Wonderful Lap table!!!
I have been through MANY of lap desks and This desk is by far thee most comfortable on the lap. It has a handle for carrying and also inclines too making it easier to see the laptop screen and write on it. I use it in my recliner and in my bed. My 15inch Mac fits wonderfully on top and doesnt slide down at all. I think because there is a coating that grips everything. I have the black one. Anyway, there is a long plush wrist rest (couldnt think of what to call it) that blocks anything from falling off and comfy on the wrists as well. It also has a long mouse “pad”/“Table” built inside the table that slides either left or right. Both sides of it has a phone holder so that you can place your phone in it. It has room enough for my Iphone 8plus with a case. Its stands right up. Another neat factor is it has a lil pouch with velcro cover on the front end of it for the detachable light. It slides in and out and can be plugged into what looks like a usb port. There is a switch on the desktop for on/off and it takes 4 double A batteries hidden inside the desk. I am tempted to see if the USB port will recharge my phone too. It may say something in the description about it but i am in the middle of writing this and do not feel like looking it up. Lol I cannot say enough good things about this lap table. Quality is great! I will have to post a follow- up review in a couple of months. You know how some things start off great but then go bad over time? I hope this is not the case! I hope my review helps!!!

Nice laptop table
Wife loves it. Uses it all the time. Product is portable, compact, easy to use, comes with a built in mouse table, and light. Highly recommend.

Works great, but a little heavier than expected
I have been using this lap desk for over a year constantly. The product is made very well and extremely functional with a mouse pad that can be pushed from one side to the other. The surface of the mouse pad is easily read by the mouse laser and functions well. There is also a notch in which a smartphone can rest upright. i use it when I think about it and it works well when used. The lap desk looks good and has a foam pad which many users can probably rest their palms/wrists, however my laptop has a wide area which my hands rest on when in use. The light comes in handy because my keyboard is not backlit. The led light can also be tucked away or stowed when not in use or in transit. The light is powered by a hidden battery panel within the pad which can be accessed to change the battery when needed. I use this pad normally for several hours a day for work/teaching online. It has performed very well and there is no noticeable wear. The only small downside is that this pad is a tad heavier than expected, but has never felt like a burden on my legs, probably due to the quality memory pad used for construction. I would highly recommend to those that work/study from home for long hours.

Wrist pad should be removeable, otherwise would recommend
Just got the item and so far really like it. The one thing I would change is make the wrist pad removable. Some of the pictures of item are old, as an example the sliding arm on the side does come with a padded surface and a cut out on the bottom side to make it easier to pull it out. So having different pictures makes it more confusing as to which one you will get. The upper slot has enough room to hold my note 9 with a case and allow it to rest at an angle and type while using an external keyboard. The side slot also works but holds the phone straight up and down (while in the case). There is a cut out in the bottom of the side slot which allows for charging your phone while it sits in the slot if you feed a cable from the bottom. It feels really sturdy and I don't think it is too heavy for what you get/ what it does. I wanted something that would allow me to put a wide wireless keyboard (18") on it and use the mouse on the side as needed; but also having the benefit of not being as wide when the side arm is stored away and using it with my phone, tablet etc in the top slot. The shape of the lap desk allows you to prop it up on the side, bottom or top when storing and it won't roll/ fall over. I know that sounds strange but I have another one that I have had for years but the sides are rounded and if you try and store it upright on either side it will roll and fall over giving you only one option to store upright which can be a pain because it takes up more horizontal space. I really like the versatility of the lap desk minus a non removable wrist pad. Wrist pads are not good if you rest your arms where the pad presses right below your wrist because that is where the carpal tunnel nerve is, but that goes for using a keyboard and mouse without a pad. Because of the features, size, and the quality of the build it is the best one I have used so far. I looked at 7 pages of lap desks and all the others were either too big or too small (most lacked a pull out arm) or did not have the top slot for holding other electronic devcies. Would recommend buying it and perhaps on a future update they will make the wrist pad removable.

pretty good lap desk, great price
i've been looking for a good replacement lapdesk for the past year or so to replace an old one that i liked but fell apart. purchased a few different ones that just didn't work out for one reason or another and came across this one. it's not perfect. but it's pretty good. the good: large, sturdy desk surface that is smooth. suitable for holding your laptop, tablet, handheld game unit or even used as a writing desk, signing papers, etc. the memory foam cushion is thick, soft and firm. the pull-out side panel comes out on the left or right side, has an angled phone slot i didn't know i needed. the battery powered LED light is a nice added feature, and has a storage pocket for the light when not in use. black color is non-distracting and goes with anything. the bad: tablet slot is not wide enough for largest of tablets. mousepad is very small and doesn't have a lip at the bottom, if you let mouse go it will slide down and off! slick tabletop surface might not be for everyone. overhead light only has one setting. overall i'm happy with this lapdesk. it's cheaper than some that i've purchased and works better than most. i think it's a good value for the price. i can recommend this to someone looking for a well built lapdesk with some useful features.

Perfect lap desk!
I first ordered the silver sparkle top, but the one delivered was the version without the light, so I returned and re-ordered the black sparkle top version with light. Gosh! I love it! How did I manage before this thing? I'm using it right now to write this review in perfect comfort. It's described as fitting a computer up to 15.6 inches, however I can use it for my 17 inch laptop on top of a cooling unit (which lowers the footprint to about 15.6 inches) just fine. The limitation in size comes from the placement of the on/off switch for the led lamp on the upper right corner. Another majorly cool feature is the slide out mouse and phone holder. It slides out on the left AND the right, so this can be used by both the lefties and the righties in the household with no problem. The LED light isn't too bright, but it is fairly useful because it can be moved to best illuminate whatever you need the most light on. I did try to sue this for coloring, but it sits too low for me to see tiny details when on my lap. I use it primarily for computer use, drawing sketches, and writing notes and lists. It's super light, very comfortable on the legs, perfectly aligned for use a mouse (or WACOM tablet for Photoshop work) and easy on the wrists. The padding for the wrists is really spot on. Overall, this is an awesome unit and well worth the premium price. If you order one with the light, be sure to open your box immediately to make sure that Amazon sent you the correct one.

Sturdy, spacious mouse pad shelf, comfy
This is a great lap desk, and I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to share a couple things I couldn't figure out from the other great reviews. First, the shelf that slides out for the mouse is VERY sturdy. This piece is actually the width of the lap desk so you can pull it out to the left or the right side. There is a slightly textured mouse pad built in. I used this all day, and my mouse never slid off. Sure, if I tilt the desk far enough it enough it would slide. It’s a nice surface that allowed my mouse to glide as needed. Also, it’s a large surface area for your mouse to move around, which was very important to me, as well as how sturdy it would be. Second, the black version has black fabric covering the memory foam on bottom, but the hard surface on top has silver specks in it, which I rather like. It’s a nice solid surface. The memory foam is comfortable, even being on my lap all day today. The construction overall is very good. And it’s helpful that the light can be detached and stored in a pouch along the front end of the desk. The light just plugs into a USB port on top of the desk, and you unzip the side to pull out the piece to insert 4 AA batteries, though I haven’t tried the light. I have a standard 15 inch dell laptop, and there’s no room on the lap desk for anything else when my computer is sitting on it. You could use the shelf that pulls out for the mouse pad as a writing area, it’s sturdy enough. I hope this helps. This was nicer than I expected so I felt compelled to share. Give it a try!!

Better than expected.
BEST LAPTOP TABLE EVER! I use it for the bed, laying on the couch or sitting when I don't have a table. It has a coushined han rest that allows me to have my laptop held at an angle when laying down, however, when laying down, the laptop would slip off the coushion, but that was an easy fix. I used a little sticky back velcro and problem solved. Now I have the best of all worlds. LOVE IT!!
