So after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to buy it, but I had a similar toy growing up and decided to give it a try. I am glad I got it, as recently I have tried to limit the use of my kids with the iPad and this has been a good replacement. First this doesn't require batteries, which is a huge advantage not needing to worry about that. As for the other complaints of seeing or not seeing the numbers, with no batteries or light source there was a fine balance on how dark/light the number underneath can be, so yea at some light it's visible but my kids still try and memorize and not trying to "cheat" themselves and see if they can read it. I have tried to take pictures to show what it looks like pressed and not pressed. My kids have memorized all the tablet and I see in their math homework how much faster they now do it. I purchased both the addition and multiplication, the pictures are of one of them.

I purchased this to help my 8-year-old daughter strengthen her multiplication skills at home, and it’s been a great tool so far. Item was a disappointment. And for its price, totally NOT worth it - maybe ten bucks.When tap is press down for the answers, it cannot even show! My grand kids (ages 6, 9, & 11) were so disappointed! Returning the product was not even worth it. Took the loss and got rid of item.

Nice and sturdy. Seems well made. The only thing I have an issue with once the button is pushed the answers are hard to see. Overall, not a bad buy, should definitely be cheaper. Would recommend at a lower price.
