Great paint for my needs
I am a local food vendor for several events at a local venue. We don't always have the same theme so I do tend to change my menus and also add specials etc. My boards are two pieces of slick paneling I've painted with this type paint. The first coats were brushed on from this paint out of a quart. Now I use this spray to do a change. I've used it easily over regular chalk wiped off and then chalk paint markers and it covers both easily. It dries within minutes so much faster than the brush on. Typically after every event I give it a good spraying to just freshen up the look and it's back good as new.....If you need to write on something with chalk and definitely if you need to makes changes this is the way to do. It covers great and stays on well....never had any issues.

Works perfectly
We bought it to paint our small blackboard. It works perfectly. We gave it about 4 coats and let it dried completely in between coats. That’s the key. Read instructions carefully before using it. Our board looks like new and we have left over paint for at least 3 more times . Excellent purchase.

Top Notch.
We ordered two of these for an in-home job that consisted of creating a 6-foot by 3-foot on-wall chalkboard. The job was quick and easy, dried fast, and seems to be just as functional as I imagined. I had plenty to cover the surface area of the board, but with the extra, just put on a light second coat and we now have an awesome chalkboard in our spare bedroom.

Does its job, (but does leaves a mess behind).
First off, let me just say that I've never really used spray paint before. I probably should have prepared my area better, because this left a huge mess on my floors and walls. I didn’t realize that spray would cover such a large area, so I messed my wall up and now have to repaint it. Additionally, when I spray painted the sides of my upper (wooden) cabinets, but when I had finished there was residue all over my floors and counters. I had to mop the floors four times before it was all up. I would absolutely suggest placing something down on the floors before you start any project. I would also suggest a mask while using this product, or you’ll have black soot up your nose. Overall, the product is actually decent. It's easy to use; just point and spray. It does not drip, which is a plus, and dries within 20 minutes. I turned my cabinets into chalkboards so I could hang measuring cups, which I then labeled for easy access. There was plenty left in the can to do two coats on two cabinets; I barely used any for that project. I’ve also done a coffee table for my daughter (and a few other little items) and still haven’t used half the can. This can be used on virtually anything. My son and I played around with it and painted a bunch of different items just for fun. We used it on cardboard, plastic, glass, and wood. I would not recommend using this on anything you would hold a lot, like drinkware, because it did leave residue all over my hands. My finished products were very chalkboard-esque. I used normal chalk for my cabinets first, which worked well but the chalk was too big to write properly with. I then used a fine point chalk-marker, which turned out much better.

Love it!
Easy to spray but definitely stains hands just as easily. So use gloves and have a clean work space. I used it for the footboard of by daughter's wooden bed. I cleaned it with a simple wipe, sanded it lightly with sandpaper, then sprayed a coat and let it dry for twenty minutes. I was so impatient I used chalk and wrote on it right then. Big mistake, when I erased it, the paint came off. So I learned to follow instructions and let it dry. Needless to say I had to redo the whole surface. I sprayed the first coat and let it dry for twenty minutes, then I sprayed the second coat (third if you count my initial mistake) and let it dry for a full 24 hours. After that it was good to go. My kids have loved it ever since. The only thing is that weeks after it's been applied. The chalk that is used on it stays on. So I'm guessing I have to clean it every day to keep the black board clean otherwise it just looks messy, even when I wipe it with water. I might just paint it again, because after I painted it the first three times, I still had a lot of spray left over. It was used to cover the foot board of a twin-sized bed. Overall, it's a great buy, quick shipping and wonderful price...a little over $3 dollars if I remember. It was even cheaper on amazon than Walmart, Walmart had it for about $3.97

Wow - insta-chalkboard!
I was totally amazed, didn't even know they made such a thing! Had this cool little "pig holding a chalkboard menu" dude in our kitchen that somehow got to where chalk wouldn't even stick to it anymore, like some sort of shiny residue on it or something. Anyway, stressed about what to do because replacing the board would mean removing and reapplying the frame for it had a unique nature that said "you do not want to have to remake this frame." In any event, applied first coat in a snap, let it dry then applied a second coat, and voila - looks great, and chalk goes on and comes off just the way it should. Amazing product!

It works great. Better than when I bought my chalkboard brand new.
I almost went out and bought a new chalkboard but they were $40 and up. I heard about chalk board spray and bought this. Great product.
