I have also read this Doc's thesis, if you will, on Vitamin C. I loved both, and to a degree follow his recommendations in paying more than superficial attention to both of these levels in my body. They are both necessary for simple functions and mega necessary if you care about optimizing your health and disease prevention. I highly recommend reading up on this topic. This Doc cuts the BS and cares little for the general rules of more reserved medical practitioners. He is highly verbose here, thus the nerd reference, a fact I appreciate.

This is the best source of information on the subject. Thomas Levy is the authority on health & wellness. Highly recommended.

Oh man! What a book! Dr Levy truly did a thorough and complete study of the topic of magnesium! I learned so much from this book and am so amazed of all the tremendous ways in which magnesium helps the body. Thank you Dr Levy for creating such a vital and important piece of work for us. I will use this book again and again for a viable resource!

Very well researched book ,Gives an explanation as to the workings of disease from a molecular perspective. A bit technical but although the terminology may at times be intimidating you get the point . Lots of practical advise as how to combat disease with supplements including not only Magnesium ,vitamin C but most all of the essentials as well as how they do their magic. A must read for any health fanatic.

Our medical system has largely lost its way. It is in your interest to truly understand what is in your own best health interest and steer away from dependence on prescription drugs. Most of today's chronic illnesses have a big inflammatory component. You had better learn how to tip the scales in your own favor by understanding the antagonistic effects of Mg vs. Ca and associated nutrients.

I bought 2 of these books as Christmas gifts for my son & my sister, who's an RN. My sister has yet to get hers, but my son was thrilled with his copy. We all read a lot & are interested in natural remedies, herbal & alternative medicines. This book has great reviews already & is highly recommended. It'll be in our family library for many yrs. to come.

Have read his other books and have also purchased them for my health library. I am a male in my early 60's and was worried about calcium buildup in my coronary arteries and heart valves since I also have an artificial mitral valve. I am taking coumadin/warfarin blood thinner for life since I have the artificial valve and have read that coumadin increase calcium deposition in the arteries and valves since it antagonizes vitamin K that removes calcium. Now I have learned from the book that magnesium is a calcium blocker and can remove calcium from the blood stream thereby minimizing and eliminating calcium deposits. Magnesium also removes intracellular calicum which has many health aspects covered in the book. This is a must read for everyone wanting a longer healthspan.
