Brad Setter & Piercing Tool-White

Even though I have been scrap booking for ten years, I have never used brads. I know - how could I go that long with out using them? I had a big project of making a scrap book for my niece. She is turning eighteen and I promised her a book many years ago. I wanted it to be different than what I normally do for the little kids every year. She is not a child anymore and I thought I really needed to up my game for this. Plus, she loves glitter and I know how hard it is to get anything to stick to those specialty papers. So I decided I needed to learn how to brad. I watched a few you tube videos and thought I was ready to buy what I needed. I bought three different packs of brads and this brad setter on Amazon. I read the reviews and I thought it was a great price and ordered it. This brad setter made it so easy! It worked so well with all the different types and sizes of brads that I used. You just use the piercing tip to make a hole where you want the brad to go. Then slide the brad into that hole and use the other side of the setter in between the brad sides - and rock back and forth until the brad is flat with the paper! It is so easy. No breaking your nails to split the brads. You will need to buy a piercing mat to go under the paper so you don't scratch your work top. I used this to go through three pieces of specialty paper and there were no problems. I am happy I learned this skill because it just made this scrapbook so much better than it would have been without the brads. I recommend this brad setter.

This tool is handy to have around. Easy to use, and you don't have to hurt your fingers anymore! You can press the point exactly where you want the brad to set, the card/paper won't be bent. I was able to set a brad inside a bow made of thick ribbon -impossible without this tool. I would buy again!

Absolutely LOVE this handy tool. It retails as a brad setter, but has so many other functions! It's great for creasing paper, poking holes for threading, picking up small gemstones and embellishments (with a bit of glue on the end, of course), and so much more! I love that the needle can unscrew and be flipped around to decrease accidents. Plus, the ergonomic design of the 'handle' is great! We R is definitely doing it right...

very well constructed - but a little expensive.

Very handy little tool. Pierces paper without issue, and the end that folds down the end of the brads is the best part for me. Especially when using smaller brads that I would have struggled with before. Worth every penny.

Product came fast and on time. But I'm a crafty person and already had several awls and hammers of all sizes, so I didn't really need it, because I already had tools that would have worked. It does the job, using only one tool, which is a plus, but I was wanting it for furniture brads, the kind with 3-4 teeth on them. I'm keeping it though because it was easy to use and convenient. Worth the money.

This tool is a must have if you work with any type of brad! The piercing tool makes it easy to start the hole where your brad needs to go with pinpoint precision. And the Brad setter does an excellent job of easily securing your brad tightly and securely to whatever medium you are working with. I definitely recommend this tool for any crafter who uses brads. It’s a game changer!

outil fort sympa et pratique! je l'utilise surtout pour le coté pique qui est parfait pour faire des oncisions, attrapper des petites choses et les fils. le 2eme embout faut plutôt gadget, on ouvre aussi bien les pattes des brads avec nos doigts😉

Muy buena herramienta. Ayuda para poner brads y quedan perfectos . El punzón muy bien con su capuchón. Muy práctico para llevar en cualquier estuche sin ocupar mucho.

Item is not pink as described or blue (photo) as advertised it's white a little disappointing for me as it makes it harder to find on desk when in the middle of a project. This does not affect the purpose of the tool - It is actually very sturdy in constructions and the body of the tool feels rubberized - good for sweaty hands won't slip. Overall good tool and will help me immensely.
