Works well on frosted windshield. Slower on heavy frost or ice. Great cleaner results on dirty glass.

Won’t Freeze
For the first time ever my windshield wiper fluid froze this winter. I don’t know if it was because of the placement of the tubes delivering the fluid to my windshield or because the fluid I was using was a cheaper blue brand, but freeze it did! It was annoying to carry around a spray bottle full of liquid and have to jump out of the car at a red light to use it in order to be able to see where I was going! Even though the RainX de-icer is quite expensive, I now have it delivered regularly using subscribe and save so as to never run out in the winter. It works - no freezing - and I appreciate that it treats my windshield so that precipitation simply beads up and rolls away. This is an expensive win!
