This is just like what my audiologist have me when I bought my hearing aids. They are designed to keep the fine tube where the sound comes out from getting clogged by ear wax. The actual filters are quite small. And UT just seems the amount of packaging seems excessive for the number of filters. That is it seems they could easily have fit 50% more in this holder. The top spins around and reveals new filters one at a time. You press the end of the hearing aid into the hole (#1) which removes the old filter with a subtle click. Then you press the end of the hearing aid into the #2 hold where the new filter is visible and when you press down you'll feel a clickand the new filter week be in place. I won't say that the whole process is easy. Sometimes it works perfectly on the first try abs sometimes it takes scrap attempts. As there is no alternative dispenser that I can find for my hearing aid, I will continue to buy this product.

For some reason, about six months after I purchased my Phonak hearing aid at Costco, they decided that they would control access to the parts of your hearing aid that need monthly maintenance, like these wax filters and the little silicon plugs that need replacement. They used to give you the parts, but now insist they will replace them for free once a month while you are in the store. We'll, I live 45 minutes away and otherwise would not be going to Costco once a month. I was very happy to see that I can purchase these on Amazon. They arrived quickly, I changed the filters and can now hear out of my left hearing aid again. I find them really easy to use. I do wish that they had included a photo of both sides of the box with the product description, but want to thank the reviewer who did so.
