Ladies, especially my fellow Black women who have been struggling with growing your hair out length-wise. I regret that I didn't take photos of my hair growth journey with this product. But, for the first time EVER, I've found a product that actually delivers visible hair growth results!! I will literally NEVER change my hair routine again after using this spray for 5 months!! I know that it's hard to believe without photo evidence but I'm a real woman who has struggled with achieving my dream hair length for YEARS! I've wanted hair flowing down my back since I was 9 and have tried different routines and fads up until now. I'm 28 this year and I wish I had known about fermented rice water so much sooner!! I'm going to be frank about this product. At its worse, the water spray will smell funky like powdered parmesan cheese that you put on pizza or spaghetti! But the results are WORTH IT, WORTH IT, WORTH IT! Plus, the smell is gone after rinsing out the spray later! I have the typical dry-prone, thick, curly, kinky hair for Black women so if you're like me and I want hair length results, here is my routine that I will forever follow religiously: ONCE PER WEEK: 1. Thoroughly spray THIS BRAND Rice Water Spray into your hair and on your scalp. Cover with a plastic cap for at least 15 minutes. Rinse it out! 2. Gently pat a towel on your hair to remove excess water from rinsing. Don't be too rough or over dry and soak up all the moisture. 3. Use ORS' Rice Water Leave-In Conditioner for extra moisture! Style as you like! I typically leave my hair in a bun or do twists! 4. Try to remember to wear a sleep cap to protect your hair at night, but I'm guilty of not doing this every night! 5. Add a scoop of Giant Sports Collagen Peptide Powder to 1-2 of your daily drinks! This can be found here on Amazon I know that it seems like a lot but this routine has actually succeeded in increasing my hair LENGTH! My hair used to be at my shoulders and 5 months of doing this later and it's now down to my mid-back! If you're desperate for results, give this routine a try! I will forever be faith to this brand's rice water spray!

Shipping and delivery were fantastic. As for the product, I only used it twice, and the results are fantastic. I have very fine and frizzy hair, and after using it twice, my hair is as shinny as pictured, and the frizz is gone. The smell is indeed kind of unpleasant, but this is a fermented solution, so remember that contains bacteria ( which is why the hair loves it) - plain and simple, this is topical probiotics for the hair. The smell is somehow vinegary, but if you put a shower cap and cover it with a towel before washing, you can deal with it for the 15 minutes required. I am more than pleased, not only for the shine and non frizzyness, but also for how soft it makes the hair. The sprayer bottle works well and it makes it easy to soak your scalp with just a few sprays. Massage a little bit, cover, wait 15 minutes, then go to the shower and shampoo as usual. It work wonders for me.

I have a Caucasian mixed girl hair texture. This helps make my hair smooth, but you must deep condition it when you use this. The smell is VERY unpleasant, which is why I took away 1 star.

Update dec 2024 This is either my 4th or 5th order of this spray and it’s noticeably different. The color of the liquid is way lighter than before. It used to be an almost dark brown color. Now it’s like very pale pee. The smell is also different. As to whether the potency or feel of the product has changed, I’ll report back after using. Photoon the right is the new packaging. Update June 2023: 4th order and something in the formula has changed. The liquid has gone from a darkish brown to a kind of medium brown. It doesnt seem as potent as my previous bottles and the extreme moisture to my hair which i enjoyed from the previous bottles, is much less. They have also changed the cap and pump. At first I thought it was fake due to this change but when i contacted the manufacturer they said they changed the pump to make it easier to use. Seems that's not all they changed. I havent added any other new products to my hair nor changed my care routine, nor put any chemicals in my hair. Am so disappointed. Why do companies insist on changing their formula from what works is beyond me. so annoying. Update _may 2023 Simply put - This stuff works. I love the design of the bottle with the lock and unlock button. The product penetrates right unto the scalp leaving no greasy residue. The main smell is ginger. It's not "stinky".

I’ve been using this product for a year now and I love it. I bought the smaller version because the price recently doubled on the bigger one. But oh well this stuff works so I’ll just adjust. Yes it smells but once you rinse it out and use a leave in conditioner or something you’re good. Having a healthy clean scalp is what is important to me. Like the reviews mention, it doesn’t come in a spray bottle which you can just work around. Find something around the house or buy a cheap one for $1 somewhere and use that one indefinitely. The price has gone up, it doesn’t spray and yet I’m still here buying it because thus stuff works.

The product description says "Ingredients: Fermented rice water". I was so excited to start using this product. When it got here, I decided to smell it so I would know what to be prepared for when I used it. It hardly even smelled fermented... So I don't even know if that part of the ingredients is accurate. But it gets worse. I checked the label (pictures of which are conveniently incomplete in the listing, so I've added a picture here) and there is Rosemary essential oil in it. I'm allergic to rosemary, so now I can't even use this product. I'll be returning it.

Ce produit est assez cher mais c'est un très bon investissement que je ne regrette pas malgré tout. Excellent pour la pousse et pour le volume capillaire sur mes cheveux crépus naturels. De plus il aide beaucoup à définir les boucles et les curls. Il n'y a pas que de l'eau de riz et du chebe. C'est très riche et bien formulé. Et il sent très bon les huiles essentielles.

Not bad. Smell is a little bad but not horrible. I can’t tell if it works for hair growth as I use a number of things in my hair along with this spray so not sure on the credibility.

Very disappointed in size of product. Did not realize the bottle was the size of the palm of my hands.

Amazing. Does not irritate and within two weeks, new hair has started the grow. The smell is not great but I will happily deal with it for 15 mins prior to washing my hair for new hair growth!
