India Tree Brazilian Coarse Sea Salt, 2 lb 2 Pound (Pack of 3)

I've ordered these multiple times. The three packages last us the better part of a year and I like how I have to use so little to get enough seasoning. I am spoiled and when I cook over someone else's house I always have to up the salt to get a good flavor. The item is nice, ships quickly, and has a good price considering how long it lasts us. I'll keep ordering it.

There were lots of coarse salts offered on Amazon, but I went with this one. I am a repeat customer for the product. It works perfectly in my salt mill, and has a great flavor.

We've bought this salt a number of times and it's a great salt, dry, easy to grind and has a great taste. However, in the most recent shipment two (2) of the individual bags had burst and the associated four (4) pounds of salt retained only by the outer packaging. The box used for shipping was undamaged indicating that the package wasn't badly handled during shipping. However, the size of the box and total lack of any internal packing material to keep the slat more or less stable was definitely an issue. All it would take was a little observation to note that the box was way to large and if we're going to ship in an oversized box then some sort of packing material is going to be required. Or, just use an appropriate sized box to start with, plus some appropriate packing. Seeing that the salt was retained by the outer packaging we're not going to bother returning the shipment. We'll just have to transfer the salt to air tight containers. Unfortunately, this will probably be the last time we'll be purchasing this product.

I make my own bath salts to give as gifts, etc. And this Sea Salt just fit the bill. Just the right size...it disolves great...and my family and friends love it. I will definitely buy more. I add a color and a fragrance and then put it in jars for my friends and family. It's a Great product. 5 stars all the way.

Three bucks a pound for salt? In Italy we always use this type of salt for cooking pasta, and for grilling "alla piastra" or on a cast iron grill on the stove. The piastra is sprinkled with a little coarse salt, and then the food is placed on top. I don't know why this type of salt is not more common in the US. In Italy, it costs 50 cents per kilo retail (and I'm sure they are not losing money.) Here it costs three dollars! Ridiculous.

This salt works great in my grinder and is yummy. I had no problems with the package; all the salt was contained. A great price for the amount of salt. I'm quite pleased.

Arrived intact despite other reviews of ripped bags. Seems like good stuff and certainly make economic sense.

Salt everywhere inside package,1 bag broke. Tried to return, answer is "non returnable"! Really ???!!!
