Nuvo Lighting 60/303 Transitional Eight Light Vanity in Pwt, Nckl, B/S, Slvr. Finish

We bought two of these lights and put them over our medicine cabinets in the master bath. Installation and wiring is pretty straightforward. The decorative wall cover is held in place by the socket covers. I had to bend the "teeth" on those socket covers to tighten them and get them to hold the wall cover in place, but overall the lights work well.

This 8 light "oiled antique bronze" light bar replaced a 5 light "brushed brass" light bar which landed at Good Will.

For newbies to vanity strips like I was who are learning how to replace light fixtures the hard way, the instructions don't make it clear but you have to disassemble it to install it. First you have to unclip the bulb mounts from the wall plate.. There is a little short clip and a long clip on each mount that hold in by pressure, so it is easier to push the short one in the slot until it "unhooks, then the long one will come out easier. Do this for each bulb mount. Then, it isn't hard but pull the ceramic collars out (they are held in by pressure but come out easier if you "unscrew" them),. Then the mounts for the bulbs, the collars, the wall plate, and the outer covering plate will be separate and accessible. If you remove the ceramic collars first that would be easier, but I only discovered that that was probably an option after I had unclipped the bulb mounts first! Anyway, mount the wall plate and hook up the wires, then mount each bulb holder one by one by putting the longer clip into the slot first, then push til the short one pops in, and you will have the bulb holders in nice and tight. The ceramic collars have to be pushed back on to these after you put the covering plate on. Each bronze fixture I received had a few minor scuffs or scratches and instead of returning them I just used a furniture touch up marker or some cheap bronze colored hobby paint to cover them - you won't notice it when it is on the wall. I wanted daylight 4000 or 5000K LEDs, but after seeing how cold and sterile the light from those bulbs is I was actually glad when I received soft white bulbs by mistake when I bought my G25 globe lights. They do give a much more pleasant light. I used eight 40W equivalent dimmable bulbs in two 24-inch vanity strips in a fairly large bathroom, and you will probably want to go dimmable or use 25W equivalents if you don't want to sear your retinas when you turn the light on first thing in the morning with 40W equivalent or higher non-dimmables!

We searched everywhere for a simple, yet effective light to match my decor scheme. There were negative reviews, but I couldn’t be happier with these. I want LIGHT when I’m putting on makeup. These look nice and definitely give me the light I need! I am very happy with these! We put them in both bathrooms.

This item was what I was looking for. I needed a strip of lights to cover the plate that is offset from my vanity (I did not want to open up the dry wall, etc. This pretty much worked since the cover plate that is in rubbed oil bronze color covers the mounting plate completely so you can't tell it's there. It also matches the color scheme of the new fixtures and vanity in the bathroom. While it looks decent enough, I had to give it 2 1/2 stars mainly for some short comings. First, the package was beat up. I'm not sure if it was the shipping company or what ever, but one side of the bronze color metal plate came slightly bent, but that was simple enough to fix, still... Second, the biggest one for me and the reason I subtracted another star was one of the ceramic light sockets was missing the tab that connects the light bulb to the power..thus that one socket did not turn on. Since I was in pinch and had to get this ready soon for the holidays I decided against sending it back and just fixing it. Had to go to homedepot (who btw have employees that don't know where stuff is, I had to look around to find this) and find a ceramic plug. Set me back about 9 dollars. The missing tab did not appear to be broken off, it just simply looked like they forgot to put it on. So for those reasons, I give this a 2 1/2 star. An average product....honestly could've been better, but for what I paid for it, I guess that's fine. Lights work, the bent was fixed. My recommendation, use LED lights, look better and can be dimmed.

It’s perfect for my bathroom! I wish I’d waited & looked at Lowes before buying here b/c I found a 6 light one cheaper than this one was. I just jumped in and bought here before I even looked, figured they wouldn’t have this color. I wanted more lights on it but couldn’t find one on here & rats, walk into lowes & there it was & for less. But we already had this one up & it’s beautiful. Nothing wrong with it. My tip is look everywhere first.

Item arrived dented and scratched. Since this was the third damaged light fixture, I decided to keep it and have it installed regardless of the damage. Bad idea. After hiring someone to install, only half of the lights work. I am unable to return because I waited too long.Bummer.

Installation was a breeze even for one who isn't a trained electrician/wireman. Six lights allow flexibility in achieving brightness by using low or high wattage bulbs. Or a combination of both. The bronze finish is very pleasing to the eye. Using standard base E26 bulbs makes replacement easy, convenient and inexpensive, as opposed to lamps which require fancy specialty bulbs.

Very easy to install, and look great on my bathrooms. I bought 3, and all worked well out of the box.

Beautiful, the color works for me

Quite flimsy. One of the lights sits crooked amd cannot be straightened without breaking the neck so we have left it as is (2nd light to the left) - we were tempted to send it back due to this but we are just wanting these renos to be done. So we are not very happy with the product or quality. It is not very expensive and it shows in the product. Instructions are not super but thankfully someone here posted some clarifications for installation/preparing the light bar.
