Absolutely an excellent product for those with relatives (with dementia / alzheimer's or are older / seniors/ elderly) that turn on the light constantly or at night. Plus it's much dimmer than than one used to have and it has additional modes for even less light. It doesn't heat up so you can touch it best to my knowledge. It is a dream with the remote control cause my dad would always turn on the light and it would bother us as he refused to turn it off. Now it just mysteriously turns off much to his displeasure plus I can turn it off without doing so directly and I can still turn it on manually via the lamp if I wanted to. But since buying in January the remote/january is having some issue that may be the sensor or the battery which I have to figure out. But overall did what I needed it to.

I absolutely LOVE these light bulbs. Expensive, yes, but totally worth it! I picked up 4 vintage brass table lamps that I have on my patio. Normally I would have pulled out all the wiring, added a large solar light placed into the socket and a lamp shade that fits around the socket. These bulbs allowed me to keep that lamp as intended. The remote works great and I’m shocked by the amount of light it puts out, I use the lowest setting. I used these in my house for about 2 weeks so that they would be charged and yes hubby complained about the lack of brightness. It’s because they throw the light more upward, but outside, it’s a different story and they are the best! I bought 2 more. If you plan to use these inside just make sure they are not to read with and are for subtle ambient light that will project more upward, or downward if used that way.

Had these for about a year. Purchased two. Soft white lighting was spot on but the older they got, the longer the charge time with a shorter light span. One lasts longer than the other and now I can barely get two hours after a charge. Got them to hang over a desk and over an accent shelf screwing them into a non wired fixture. Decided to purchase another brand based on reviews second time around which is doing really great and will use the old ones when a storm knocks the power out.

These bulbs worked great at first and I was thrilled to finally be able to have sconces that didn’t need hardwiring. Only used them 2 or 3 times and very briefly at that before they died completely. Don’t waste your money. As other reviewers have noted it starts with one blinking and not staying on. Before long they are both useless. No “magic” here unless you count the money I paid disappearing. UPDATED REVIEW: sorry my bad; bulbs had not been sufficiently recharged. Working again!

GREAT response from supplier. THANKING them for trying to help. Offered to replace or refund. Updated: reached out to seller and the LED indicator lights are inside the bulb and visible when it’s ‘being’ charged. However, I’m not sure that is possible to see if it screwed into the lamp. They offered immediately to send a new one out to me. I’m still choosing to dispose of it today. I had it a small lamp to charge it last night and anyway I looked at it I didn’t see any indicator lights at any angle before I wrote the first review. And the lights were visible in the video I watched. I have none. I thought it was great to get a bulb that could recharge using AC power and not USB ...but... my bulb is missing the indicator lights to tell me when it needs charging (red) and when it's charged (blue) and it only last about 8 - 10 hours. I have another brand of cordless rechargeable light bulb that lights for 30 hours that is charged via USB and so so sorry I did not just buy another one of these...much better product, last longer and the instruction were very thorough...this bulb is just a mess ... I had to watch 3 YouTube videos and they all had issues but they had the LED indicator lights that I do not have ... too much trouble to return ... so I will be disposing of this bulbinto the battery recycle bin at the hardware store ...

This is a great piece for my floor lamp as the on/off switch is broken! It does not hold a charge for much more than a few hours of use but I am able to plug mine in whenever I need it to charge. The dim settings are very nice but I do wish it could go slightly brighter.

One light bulb works fine, but the other won’t stay on for longer than 1-2 seconds. Don’t waste your money! Attempting to contact seller to replace. Will update once a solution is reached. Update: seller explained how lights work and how they must be charged. I switch them from one lamp that is plugged in to one that is in the middle of the den with no floor plug. Seller was extremely kind and helpful.

Mind you, I'm not sure that it doesn't have battery for 8 to 10 hours, but I am not sure it does. Since there are more people in the house using these I've not yet been able to positively and definitely confirm or deny but for now, with the use we've given it, it seems to fail that. So my score is 3/5: does all the advertised but for ... how long. Will be able to do a more thorough check in the next few days and will re-review then

I was looking to get the hardwiring done to place lamp on my preferred spot, but than I came across these rechargeable light bulbs. The convenience of having rechargeable bulbs is a game changer. I love that I can simply recharge them instead of worrying about the hardwiring. They hold a charge well and lasts for hours. These bulbs provide excellent brightness, illuminating my rooms effectively. It has three brightness settings. The warm light creates a cozy atmosphere, making them perfect for both everyday use and special occasions. They combine functionality, efficiency, and sustainability. Highly recommended!

Works well in my kitchen where I added sconces that couldn’t be hardwired in. Remote works really well and love that the bulbs can easily be recharged, much better than the puck light hack and brighter too. The light is a very warm “mood” kind of light so not ideal if you need something brighter, but suits my needs perfectly. Shipping estimate was a lot longer than the actual shipping time which I appreciated!
