They found the book intriguing and silly and each student noticed different things in the illustrations that led them to develop their own conclusions. I also think this book would be a great mentor text for a lesson on inferring, maybe for third graders. Review: A speech therapy essential! - I love this book and use it all the time with my clients! The pictures are beautiful and show an entertaining narrative with a clear beginning, middle with several episodes, and ending. Kids really enjoy it, and they don't even know they're doing "work" when I ask them to look at the pictures and tell the story in their own words. Great for collecting a language sample or just reading for fun.

Great “read aloud” & beautiful illustrations
I used this in a first grade classroom to do a retell/narration activity since this book had no words and the kids loved it! A Beautifully Illustrated Childhood book
This is such a beautifully illustrated book, with no words included. Honestly, the images are so expressive I don’t think words are necessary.

Nocturnal Frogs Having Fun? Count Me In!
I should be totally honest and let you know that I am a huge David Wiesner fan. Tuesday is another amazing picture book from David Weisner that has vivid, creative, and humorous illustrations that let you and the little ones run wild with your imaginations. The concept is so simple and yet so great - create your own story with some nocturnal frogs on a flying adventure in a suburban neighborhood! I quickly realized that long and wordy books, no matter how awesome, are not my friends when it comes to reading out loud to little ones as they can get tiring reading over and over again. I think this works well for kids 2 and older and is great for using your imagination since there's no written story and you can really create a lot of variations of the story. Little ones will remember the slight nuances in the "story" but will also love to hear slight variations. This book also gives kids a good opportunity to practice their own "storytelling" skills.

One of the Top 5 MUST have books for children!!!
My son had this book when he was a toddler, and I've now bought it for my grandchildren. The book is a wonderful fantasy about a Tuesday evening in a quiet calm little town. No spoilers here... The artwork is amazing and because of the actual content, the book is appropriate for all children regardless of age! The format allows the parent to tell the story, or for the child to picture read and make up their own story along the way. This book helps a child's imagination to grow and offers a wonderful surprise ending which will make old and young alike burst out in laughter!

Great wordless picture book
Bought 2 books and both arrived damaged. Too bad since this book is great. This review reflects the condition of the book, not the story itself. My dad "read" this book to me as a little girl. We loved changing the story each time and looking for hidden objects. Great book to use a kid's imagination.

Clever illustrations and highly entertaining
My kids laughed all the way through Tuesday, with minimal wording, the entertaining illustrations really allow for the creativity to flow. It is so unique and fun. It's been the perfect addition to our home library!

I got this book based on the fact that it was one of the top 50 books for children. My 4yo son hated it. The graphics were well drawn but that was the extent of the positives. I could not recommend this as one of the must own books for children or adults.

Tuesday is a wonderful book. This book is a great way to help children learn the skill of inferencing. I use this book in my classroom continually to demonstrate reading in between the lines to understand a text. Tuesday has very little words so the children look at the beautiful illustrations to follow the story. I highly recommend this book for teachers or really anyone that wants to share a beautiful story with their children! Enjoy!
