My cat loves this food. She very, very seldom has issues with any hairballs.

I chose this product because of the price point and the reviews suggested that my cat may not get sick eating this. My cat has struggled with "regurgitation" frequently in the past. I have tried iams, Blue Buffalo (with decent results), and Tiki Cat. After switching my cat exclusively to wet food, I determined that hairballs were a big part of the problem. Also she eats fast, so I have taken steps to prevent her from swallowing her kibble whole. I have been using this new food for over a month and have ordered my second bag. My cat loves this food! I don't think it's the healthiest with by product for the second ingredient and pea protein for the third. But my cat has not thrown up since starting her on this food. Tldr; My cat loves it and is no longer throwing up.

I used to get this at Walmart, but they quit carrying it. My cats like this in chicken and salmon. They are healthy and happy. I guess it has that stinky cat aroma they love and flavors. I think there is more healthy stuff and less filler stuff because our two cats are doing fine. I pour the bags into big plastic containers and it stays fresh for the 3 weeks until they eat it all up. If I say how long they have been eating this brand they will probably hate it the next day so I won't say that - but even the wild yard cats like the leftovers.

My kitty gets furballs when the spring shed starts to happen. I feed regular Nutro cat food to her all the time, and am very pleased with her beautiful coat and she is very healthy, so I want to stay with the Nutro food. I add the fur ball formula over a period of about two weeks- starting with replacing 1/4 of the regular food, going to 1/2 of her serving, and then using 3/4 of her serving as fur ball formula. I usually stay with the 1/4 serving of regular food and 3/4 serving of fur ball formula, and she doesn’t have any more fur balls. I highly recommend this method!! If your kitty has long fur, and you continue to have fur balls, I would suggest using the furball formula alone. I hope you all see the same success that we have here!!

Good nutrition for your cat/cats. I've been feeding this to My Cat's for years. I tried the Hairball one but it didn't help My Cat's with the problem, but I wanted to try it for awhile because one refuses Petramalt which I know does help if they'll use it.

We are an all Nutro cat food household now. Their hairball formula dry food is the only one after trying 4 different 'high-end' foods that helped one of my cats' newfound vomiting problem. After the vet couldn't find anything wrong with him and suggesting it's most likely hairballs, even though I didn't see the obvious hairballs coming up, he was exactly right. After switching him to Nutro's hairball formula, he hasn't thrown up more than maybe 2 times in the last year he's been on it. Nutro's weight management dry cat food is also the only food that has helped my other kitty lose weight successfully (slowly and steadily)-- 6 months of prescription food didn't even help her. So naturally I switched the remaining 4 kitties over to Nutro's indoor formula and they love it and I have been extremely pleased. I wish I could find coupons for them, or see if they ever run discounted prices, but their food is definitely worth the price. I have found that Amazon is always the cheapest for this food plus you can't beat the free 2-day shipping.
