Parker Sonnet Fougère Fountain Pen Sterling Silver 18 Carat g.C. M Black

2nd example supplied by Amazon - better than than the first (which didn't have the Fougere pattern on - see second photograph) but ultimately still disappointing. Unfortunately the pattern on the cap does not align with the position of the clip (see first photograph), which one might reasonably expect for a pen in it's price bracket. The promotional photographs show the clip in alignment with the pattern. (Update) Having ordered a replacement from Amazon two weeks later, Amazon send me a pen with the same fault (misaligned clip) - the third faulty item sent by them - judging by the small amount of tarnishing on the barrel it is the same pen previously returned as faulty. Amazon customer services previously promised to check their stock for faults, but on face value it looks like this was an empty promise, with the faulty item just returned to stock. Was promised a call back by Amazon - but again another empty promise. I'm not sure how such customer service aligns with Amazon statements on the matter. Disgraceful!
